what makes the soft drinks you listed so good? if its going to be a liquid, it should be healthy, orange juice, lemonade [and not the mixes you can buy, from concentrate or hand squeezed] milk, water. thats about all thats truly easily gotten and healthy...you have your "health drinks" but they cost and arm and a leg. no soda is healthy, some are just less evil than others.

well, two years ago i used to slam down cans of Coke C2, and other low sugar drinks, and now that i think back to those days, its probably whats caused most of the issues i have today with joints, and such...lately, water and orange juice have become my main drinks.

water is better than any amount of soda a day...especially for people who really work out. excersize + water makes the good life.

uhh, its almost the same as Kubuntu...the only difference is frostwire...i personally would have hoped that would have not entered the world of linux. however, Kubuntu does have dvd decryption, win32 stuff widely available through synaptic or tarballs. i'll look into this though, if its supposedly that good.

being an actual DJ, and running a quite popular local show, i see the issue that this is causing, everyone who listens to any form of radio should join into this. already did my part...what about you all?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aspartame_controversy i know not that many approve of wikipedia content, however if my sisters were home i could have them add to this, they both work at a health food store. the movie Sweet Misery: The Poison Revealed will be a good watch for someone who wants more.

its like the P182 to me...simple, yet completely functional at the same time...and it doesn't look that bad...stick a floppy in it, and you'll get plenty of attention

ok, been here, done this. between regular soda, and sugar/caffeine free, the regular will be better for you. if you think i'm wrong, look up side effects of sugar, and then look up side effects or long term effects of Aspartame, Splenda, or you sugar substitute of choice. Aspartame can cause or at least incrase the chances of cancer. whats better, cancer, or sugar?

i can't really give you a really good answer on that, however, unless someone can prove me wrong, i do think its the same concept as how CD-RW's have corrupt data if left sitting around for too long. data simply doesn't last forever.

lol, so how did you get onto this thread? did i miss something? he asked what people thought of the case...

case looks alright...i'm not a big fan of drive doors. they annoy me, especially if you leave it closed when you are burning a CD, once it attempts to pop out, its stopped...bugs me...but it looks alright, everyone has their own tastes.

alright, tonight or tomorrow i'll be able to take a look at it and find out....when you push the power button, nothing happens...in my eyes, thats already an issue with the PSU, whether it be a short or anything else. its basically kept terribly, it needs to be cleaned up if anything...i guess thats on the to-do list for friday. i just did a little math, its actually a 300W PSU with 73% efficiency [reason for only putting out 218W max]. now that i think of it, yea, i'll take a look at the pin layout compared to another PSU that i can bring in. i have two HP computer and haven't had an issue like that, however as this computer is much newer, i might as well check, no use is blowing money unless its going to work. ------------------- i found out that its an HP a510n, i was looking into some Power related issues with it, i'll look more into it tomorrow because i'll be able to get to it briefly, which will give me time to email HP asking them about the PSU, i also need to know if its still under warrantee...what fun.
-
is there anything i can do about it or should it just be replaced? i found out that its 230W, outs out 218 max....

ok, i kinda want to double check something before i go do something stupid. say i have this new HP tower, its got an AMD processor, 120GB HDD, CD burner, DVD reader, 512MB DDR RAM. When you plug it in, the light on the back of the PSU blinks, when you unplug it, it continues blinking, slower and slower. am i right in thinking the PSU may be dead? its for a friend, and he doesn't have a backup of his music, so i really does need it fixed. im not sure of its real age, or its model name, so i can't get more specific than i have. any/all input is greatly appreciated.

ok, maybe i'm stupid, or crazy, but someone please give me a very good answer. i've got a Thinkpad 2648-T22, 900Mhz, 384Mb of RAM [take what i can get] i'm getting an original power adapter for it, however my dad [who's cant let anything wait] ghetto-fied a power supply for it, and i want to know if i'm right about what i know of it. if you have a 12 volt [overload protected] power supply that [puts out 4 amps], it wont be able to power a 16v item requiring 3.36amps. i doubt the extra amps do anything for it... i'm well aware of line-loss and how shorter wires in general are better, but even with a shorter cable, 12v and 4a will not be able to adequately supply 16v and 3.36a. is there anyone who could make some sense out of that?

your wireless devices work at their own speed. none will bring down any others in terms of network speed.

actually....M$ does put the key on the CD, you just need to know what folder to look in. i'm not sure what the rules are past my saying that much, so i'm going to stop there, don't even bother PMing me to ask where it is.

thats bad lol

haha, windows 95...don't believe half of that stuff though.

1) you can change RAM size in settings, you can't change VGA memory at all to my knowledge. 2) theres no point in worrying about what type of hard drive, as its always the same as whats in the actual computer, if you've got SATA, be sure to include the drivers in the install where needed. 3) modem or LAN is the same as the Host system. 4) sound is same as host, sometimes it will not work, be ready to accept that. ----------- using a virtual PC is almost the same as just using a regular PC, just virtual, not all around. i dont understand what all the questions are about... ----------- there is no way to configure a virtual PC to run as a different type of computer, everything is dependent on the Host system.

i started using Ubuntu about August...i also jumped on 7.04 as soon as it came out, its far more stable than windows on my machine, and even recognizes ECC and non-ECC RAM at the same time. helps a lot, emulates faster, and the only thing it keeps me from doing is printing, but i can use an emulated windows for that.

i've been putting off getting 5.5, bad i know, but i don't have the time to update until tomorrow...mother's day is such a bummer when i have other stuff to do. -
i know that you don't have to use both sockets at once, but the price is outrageous. i guess i stand corrected on single socket boards...just hope that if you need a PCI card its compatible with the 100mhz slots...

O_o i loved the trailer, it was really good...then the movie came out. and the movie was terrible. the screwed up venom because they weren't going to originally have him in the movie...gah i want a refund... oh well. the last one wasn't all that good either. the first had its times...from a director's standpoint, there were areas that were sloppy. such as spiderman jumping on the balloons...his shadow is never in the same place twice...poor editing.

dual socket xeon boards...never seen a single socket in my life...looked hard for one too, i wanted to build a new Xeon rig, saw the price and what i needed for real performance, and then i looked at what i could afford. dual Xeon rigs overpower everything...if you need an example, Pro Mac G5's...dual 2.4, 2.66, or 3.0 GHz models supporting up to 16gb of RAM and 2 [maybe 3]TB of storage.
