  1. I wouldn't patch the clock in the taskbar, but maybe you could patch the analog clock (the one when you doubleclick the clock in the taskbar)
  2. It's my first time I make my own DP, so it could be I make a lot of mistakes. I also can't check if the drivers aren't well coded, because I really don't know how I should do that. There are so many .inf's so I don't know where to look. But because now you'll integrate the drivers for my wlan and sound, I can make a DP with just the modem and the smartcardreader. Then I just have to install the bluetooth driver manually. I can live with that thanks for your effort EDIT: there isn't a file KB888111.ca_ or something like that, forgot to say EDIT2: Do you know your RSS feed isn't working anymore, just to let you know
  3. Could you add the following driver? C Media AZA AC 97 onboard soundchip Download: http://download1.medion.de/downloads/treib...cmazawin9xp.exe Thanks
  4. Could you add the following driver? Ralink RT2500 USB Wireless LAN Card I don't know if you want to support wlan cards with usb connection (this version uses internal usb connection) Download: http://download1.medion.de/downloads/treib...00usb_w2kxp.exe Thanks
  5. These errors I get when I use my own driverpack with medion drivers + all your driverpacks. I can't check now if the file KB888111.ca exists, because I'm using a different computer atm. The drivers that I have in my pack: Sound Driver C-Media AZA AC 97 Soundchip Bluetooth driver MSI (USB) TV-Tuner Philips 7134-Chipset Creatix CTX 607 Fax Modem Medion Smart Card Reader Flash XL V 4.0 Ralink RT2500 USB Wireless LAN Card
  6. Cool! I was searching for such a thing because I don't have a DVD player in one of my pc's, but I wanted to use my UXPDVD. I thought I had to slim down my DVD (no more office, PS,...). Thanks for the guide, I'll try it in a couple of days
  7. Okay, I'm now testing my 8383 driverpack, but I'm having some problems. I deleted almost nothing to be sure it would work, but yet, I get 2 problems: Bluetooth: The bluetooth installation application isn't correctly installed or something (I didn't write it on a sheet of paper) He gives the error when he's installing the hardware (I don't know the T, but it is during the install) => I think I need to install with the installer so the tools would also be installed. Sound: Place the CD-Rom labeled as "UAA Bus Driver for High Definition Audio Installation Disk #1" in drive G: en press OK. You can also click OK when and select a different location such as a diskette drive. => He needs a file in the I386 folder. I'm sure he needs hdaudbus.sy_/hdaudbus.sys, but I think he also copies some other files from my I386 folder for that driver. I know that file is in Dosnet.inf and Txtsetup.sif after I slipstreamed the RyanVM Dutch update pack. Are these files wrong configured or should I put some files with my sound driver? thanks for the support
  8. I'm now sure that I only unpluged the cardreader. The smartcardreader is still connected. I made an 8383 pack for my WLan, Smartcard, tv card, modem and soundcard. I'm now testing it. If you'd like that I sent you the drivers, just ask. I think I now know the problem with method 1: (I'm feeling stupid) I always made a 5GB test partition, but that was to small to install so many programs and drivers. grtz
  9. OK, I found out that the theme was installed, but the original theme was chosen. I uninstalled XPize, and will reboot in a couple of seconds and then install XPize again. grtz EDIT: I just installed XPize non-silent and the theme is applied. Maybe it is something with my scripts, I don't know... Anybody had the same problem?
  10. Hello, I use the following command to install XPize Unattended: %SystemDrive%\Install\XPize\XPizev4_MCE_Lite.exe /S /norestore /notask /nocmd" I read on the mainpage that /notask means that TaskSwitchXP won't be installed. It isn't installed, that's true, but the taskbar isn't XPized. Is it because of that switch? grtz
  11. It's installing without problems now! I unplugged my smartcardreader, my cardreader and maybe some other stuff (Some cables are coming together). Now I'm going to check what I should unplug to make my unattended install work. For the information (for your database maybe) I'm using an ALDI pc MD8383. This story continues... grtz
  12. I'm now trying with the cardreader pulled out. For the problem with method 1: oempreinstall is was put to yes already. thanks for the support, will write here when I finished the install without cardreader with method 2
  13. Sorry, I'm likely not clear: I have a SATA controller, but he's always recognised as a PATA (setting in the bios). So I don't really need a driver for my HDD. But when I add the Driverpacks for my videocard, soundcard, wlan, lan, chipset, ... (I also added the mass-storage pack for if I change the bios setting) I get an error with method 2. If I use method 1, the drivers of my lan, wlan, videocard,... aren't installed. When I used method 2 and pressed three times at continue, the drivers were installed correctly.
  14. Okay, didn't found a solution, but when I slipstream the dp's with method one, I don't have problems, but they aren't installed. How should I troubleshoot? grtz
  15. Ow, I forgot to say that, when I get the error message, I have 3 options: Retry, Abort and Continue. When I push the Retry button or Abort button repeatedly, it doesn't have effect, but when I push the Continue-button three times, the setup continues... grtz Sorry for my bad English
  16. 1. It's on an Intel SATA controller, but SATA isn't enabled or something. Windows thinks it is a IDE drive. It's a configuration in the BIOS. I don't want to change it yet, because I'm affraid to loose my existing windows installation. 2. No. 3. I boot from CD, and then delete partition F (5GB) and select then select the unpartitioned space and format it as NTFS (I format it fast) I use this partition as a test partition. I have a Win XP Home running on drive C. grtz
  17. KtD=Keep the Drivers. So you can just add hardware after the XP install and it would find a driver in the driverpacks.
  18. Hi, I have a problem with my Unattended XP install: Since I slipstreamed all driverpacks with method 2, no KtD and with RunoncEx with version 5.08.1 I have a problem: The setup gives an error message. I think it is when he is done copying all files to the HDD and starting the mini Windows installation. This is what I get: "There isn't a disc in the station. Please put a useable medium in the station ." (Translated, so it will be a bit different, but you get the meaning. Original message: "Er bevindt zich geen schijf in het station. Plaats een geschikt medium in station ." Notice the " ." [sPACE][DOT]. Normally he should show a driveletter there I think. When I got that problem, I saw that there was an updated BASE. I slipstreamed Base v. 5.8.10. I didn't went back to my original I386, but just slipstreamed it above the old version. I was thinking in 2 directions: 1. I use the Dutch RyanVM update pack. I saw that there was a conflict with KB888111 solved with the new version. Maybe I should do a clean slipstream. 2. I have an 8 in 1 cardreader. He's recognised by the driverpacks. Maybe he's struggeling with the driverletters because of that. Suggestions? grtz @Bashrat: Sorry for the PM, I should posted it directly. Thanks for the driverpacks!
  19. You used 7z.sfx, I think you should use 7zs.sfx which you can download from: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/sevenzi...ar.bz2?download (it's the beta, you can also use the older final version) grtz
  20. Where do you find that ZIP version? grtz
  21. These settings you have to set with the switches. Just look if you can find all the switches for your type of installer. grtz
  22. 23. You have to respect the order: copy /b 7zSD_AR.sfx + config.txt + [YOUR FILE].7z [YOUR FILE].exe grtz
  24. It's not exactly what you asked, but when you make an mst of office 2003, you can add accounts to Outlook 2003. It's not Outlook Express, but maybe you can do something with it. grtz
  25. A normal XP CD doesn't have the $OEM$ folders grtz Ow didn't read himwotisme's post right. sorry
