Could be... stuff just seems so **** maluable and wet it seems it'll never dry out. But I suppose if you think about all the heat it will be enduring it's probably possible.

Per the Arctic Silver website:
Caution:Arctic Silver is a grease and does not have any adhesive qualities. It will never dry or set and cannot be used to glue a heatsink to a chip.

The guy with the chip, Victor, has posted a link to his personal blog where he is logging all the benchies he's running.

Wow... I figured people over here on MSFN would be going nuts about the Conroe results. Albeit not very concrete results at the moment due to the 4M cache smashing up on the 1M test. Guess it does't matter as much on this forum as on others lol. About the voltage, I belive they're saying that CPU-Z is recognizing it wrong and adding the voltage of each core together plus a little more. Each core is actually supposed to get 1.2v.

The GPO doesn't change it back only because a standard wallpaper isn't being forced in the policies. If this was configured then it would change it back (see attachment).
Guess I don't GPOs as well as I used too lol. Just glad that my company is allowing them to be changed that way. Guess it is a morale thing like you guys are talking about

Glad you got it figured out!

Hehehe... I too am a network grad... good to know the ins an outs of GPO ablities Glad I could help man.

I too am restricted from changing my wallpaer from the deafult right click > props > wallpaper. However, I can still change the wallpaper. Just download the wallpaper you like, open it, right click it and click "Set as desktop background". This works like a charm for me and the GPOs don't change it back.

Have you checked the WEP and key settings on the newer machine?

I'm with gdogg on this one as well... I believe SP2 is there for a reason athough it may be transparent to the user it'd still be best to have SP2 over SP1. And if your reinstalling SP2 every month... I think you may have bigger problems.

All I know is that I want one0

I have a feeling its connection settings within Kazaa.... if all the ports are open, it should connect as you've said. I'd get rid of Kazaa ASAP though.
I'd personally recommend FrostWire... limewire offshoot. Clean, simple... good results, no spyware.. Java intensive though. Uses ~400M virtual mem on my box. As others have stated... I'd stear clear of Kazaa.

An LDAP Directory is a network or internet based sharded address book so to speak... are you sure that the contacts you were trying to export were saved locally? I'm not quite sure exactly yhow to help because I've never tried to expoert/import from OE to Outlook. Is there anyway that you can save your contacts locally from the database and then export?

[LAN] Question regarding sniffing
in Networks and the Internet
Posted
I second all this info... if your in a network connecting through a router/server/proxy you must assume anything you view/surf/type can be viewed or at least interpreted by admins. Server/Admins are smarter than you may think, don't get yourself in trouble. Just my 2 cents
