  1. Since you're obviously using pirated keys, this is appropriate. http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=18408Buy a real copy of XP and I bet your new CD Key will work fine.
  2. Hopefully it works. I tried having it launch Media Player Classic once and it never loaded.
  3. Good to know, thanks.
  4. You can't load drivers from a floppy during unattended setup if you use OEMPreinstall=Yes in winnt.sif. That being said, I don't think you want to set that to No since you wouldn't be able to use a $OEM$ folder then. You're going to have to integrate the drivers into your CD. I recommend Bashrat's pack.
  5. Calc Plus is an enhanced version of the standard windows calculator. It adds unit conversions and some other stuff. The Power Calc power toy still does different things. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...&displaylang=en
  6. Great! I must have had a typo in the config file or something.
  7. OK, I just rebuilt the exe with a new config file. Let me know if this one still gives you restart problems. If it works, I'll rename the exe to the old name. EDIT: It works. File can be re-downloaded from the same URL as before. http://www.ryanvm.net/msfn/files/jre5.exe (9.01MB)
  8. Google cache to the rescue (maybe). Try this link: http://download.microsoft.com/download/4/6...84ff2/setup.exe
  9. sorry, I deleted it from my unattended CD awhile back and haven't looked for it since. I noticed it's not even on Windows Update anymore. I wonder what happened...
  10. Firefox doesn't require registry entries to run. However, it does require them if you want it to be registered as the default browser and if you want plugin installers to recognize it as installed.
  11. leave it here and it'll get moved eventually
  12. Better question - what do either of those have to do with unattended XP installs?
  13. Weird, I'll check to make sure I didn't screw something up
  14. You'd have to ask GreenMachine, I don't use XPCreate. On a happy note, HighMAT is confirmed working. Only one thing left B)
  15. .....care to share?
  16. you're not exactly installing it, but hidding it...With GDI+, there is nothing to install. GreenMachine already pointed that out too. When it's done . I've got two outstanding issues to resolve still, then it should be ready to go.
  17. Yeah, that's pretty easy to handle since GDI+ only requires a registry entry for WU to not complain. Correct for the most part. Some things are new files (like HighMAT), but everything in the pack installs with no EXEs, MSIs, or anything else. Basically, all files not being replaced in i386 are contained in a CAB archive and are then copied out of it by the INF doing all the install work.
  18. Uninstall first, then install (I don't think it'll let you install over top of the old version anyway)
  19. good luck to you
  20. Just put the line in your batch file. Simple as that! And I strongly doubt order makes any difference at all since your two commands are doing two completely different and independent things. EDIT: What part of this page aren't you getting? http://unattended.msfn.org/xp/batch_commands.htm
  21. Maybe by putting the command in your batch file?
  22. I have no clue where you're getting that diskperf line from, but I can tell you that it's not required for anything.
  23. I have guiupdate.cmd in my $OEM$\$1 folder on my CD. This the command I use in winnt.sif to call it: [GuiRunOnce] %systemdrive%\guiupdate.cmd EDIT: BTW, I strongly recommend you download MS VirtualPC 2004 or VMWare so you can test this stuff out before burning a CD.
  24. Put it in a batch file as outlined in the link I gave you. Then run that batch file from GuiRunOnce in winnt.sif.
  25. cmdlines.txt doesn't support start /wait
