@sixpack: manually by hand (you could also delete all entries e.g. containing "mraid35x" in txtsetup.sif and just add all lines in Bâshrat's "add to txtsetup.sif.txt", BUT you'll loose the entries containing "mraid35x" originally being supported by XP). I guess it had to be done once by hand... a real tough "handjob" by modifying and executing the batchfile in another folder, all mass storage files got compressed indepenently. when copying the files to my xpcd\i386 folder windows prompted me to overwrite some files. since I only expected ultra.sys to be overwritten, this required further investigation the other files that had to be overwritten were: dpti2o.sys, adpu160m.sys, dac2w2k.sys, dac960nt.sys, mraid35x.sys and ql12160.sys. so there had to be double entries.
