itunes. i went from media player 9, to music match, and then to itunes hehe. i think its the best

hum, i could go without any technology, but imaging still having horse and buggy and spears. technicaly everything is technology, just the definition has evolved over time. imagine back when then though that the train could never be a good mode of transportation lol. eventualy, everything becomes obsolete....

i dont really know much about mini disk players, but if they store files in mp3 format, you just have to take them to your pc, put them into itunes, and just plug in your ipod and the program will do everything by itself. good luck with your new ipod, and welcome to the superior portable music system

check the upnp setting like said before. thats my router works and i havent had a single problem with msn 6.0+. if not, invest in one, because thats the future, never having to forward ports, its all down automaticaly(hopefully trojans dont learn this)

hum, most of teh time its a continuous ammount from a single ip for a little while. meh, its just annoying. i forwarded the port into cyberspace so it will never touch my pcs

i have an hp all-in-one scanner, 2110 all-in-one. i love it . copys, scans perfectly, good quality printing, if you need a new printer too, get an all-in-one. saves space and most importantly, usb ports lol

i would suggest selling me the usb drive and buying one in the colour you like

it might be simpler for you if you got a program that had a built in music library, made for music. musicmatch, itunes, and wim amp are good choices.

theres a way to monitor a single computer, you need smtp enabled on it and an smtp access program to access the information. its really only good if your entwork has 1 computer , but you can find programs to access multiple computers and add up the data yourself. its up to you how simple you want it.

i have been able to do it with php 4 or something. i cant anymore.... its written on the coolmon website, but the script they give you doesn't work, its been outdated. and the one another person gave will only say teh first 3 lines (well, thats with my data). you will have to learn how to parse xml in php, im still looking for a guide.

wow, we've got a crap load of storage in this forum. sonu, how can you live with 20 gigs?? this is my entire house(number are in storage gbs, 1000 mb per gb): 200 gb on my main machine 20 gb on my server (yes, its a piece of crap, i found it in the trash ) 15 gb on my ipod a random 3 gb harddrive in my closet 2 old 2 gb hard drive in windows 95 machines around 20 cds 700 MB 2 mp3 players 264 MB each 1 64 MB flash drive a couple 1.44 mb floppies bring out the trusty calculator and we got a total of 256.6 storage gb as of this post, the total in the topic is 39870 gb (maybe i cant count, so dont trust my numbers lol)

itunes doesn't work in ME. so that would be your first problem. i can give you a program to sync your ipod. second..i dont believe the ipod works with ME.... if you look at the tech spacs on the ipod page on the apple website, it says windows xp or 2000. now the one thing im not sure(this is eprsonaly) is if 2000 and ME are the exact same thing. check that out first if its compatible. also, check out the apples support forums, they have a specific one for windows ipods.

possibly... its some random port number (1111, and others) then to my 135. so its possible.

do these egist? iv got this log in my router that has these couple ips that are trying to connect to *my ip*:135. is there a way i could like... get these guys to stop and cut their internet service for port scanning?
