  18. as long as you have no piping problems or leaks, you dont have to worry. even then, you shouldn't have that problem unless you bought a really really bad and old system and really messed up the connections. to me, you shouldn't have a problem
  19. static ip on my computer, port 6346 tcp/udp (public and private) forwarded to 192.168.0.100. screenshot of router forwarding
  20. i only get that problem when i connect my card to my modem. its because it cannot get any information about you ip and subnet. even when you conenct, it will continue to say it because those settings are in the internet connection icon. the main way too stop it is just unselect notify me if this connection has limited or no connectivity. if your connected to a network or something, its possible your not getting any info from the dchp server. this happens with sp2 if it works perfectly but says that still, just unselect the option to tell you about it
  21. i ran the shareaza port setting thing that chesck your ports, i have no problem with ud, but a big one with tcp. i have teh windows firewall disabled, and my router has port forwarding on. it says the port is closed. it works if i check it with localhost. i put my computer as a DMZ and its still closed... i have no idea whats doing this in my computer. windows xp home sp2 d-link 604 router thanks
  22. my mom took away the cable for the playstation (as usual....) so i had nothing to do. i decided why not pull out the gold old nintendo 64. now this brought back memories. played a few round of super smash, then a match of mario tenis. quite fun. and the graphics arn't that bad either . so much fun, brought back childhood memories. anyone else still have their "ancient" gaming systems? lets start a new generation of gamers
