I've done that (hfslip then nLite). R2 is not a full OS as it should have been. (Release number 2) c4p0ne, you need to find a file named update.exe on your CD when using the Service pack option. I only know this because I've dug into nLite translation. It's in the file selection window's title but it is so far on the right it can't be displayed. In fact, when you select a servicepack.exe, nLite expands it and then finds the 'update.exe'.

1- when you want. Simply run the .exe files. I personnaly o it at T-12 with WIHU but it doesn't matter. 2- MPC is not bundled in WM10Lite AFAIK but you can install it when you want.

I'm pretty new to HFSLIP but I know it's a powerful tool. I'm currently playing with WIHU and nLite. I want to install the .net framework 2 (RyanVm's switchless) but it also needs Windows Installer 3. Is it possible to slipstream it just as any hotfix or will it be post-installed ? I have the same question for DirectX. Thanks guys. PS: I'll make a new iso on next week : nLite RC7 out on Monday.

Hi, I know WIHU developpement has been stopped but would it be possible to add a simple feature to change screen resolution when WIHU starts and then (eventually) to set is back ? I don't want to integrate drivers and on my laptop I get default VGA resolution when WIHU is running (at T-12). My program list is quite long and display with 480 is a bit harder than 800. It could be a switch. There may be a difficulty because I don't know if Wide resolutions are available without drivers. So, it could be : WIHU.exe /Res:1280x800,800x600 If 1280x800 can't be used, 800x600 is used. @Benjamin, if you're feeling like implementing this but have no time to find the corresponding code, I can do it for you. I'd do it by myself but WIHU's code is a bit long. Thanks a lot.

Just to say, I can't do the French translation right now. I'll do it as soon as possible, but right now, I have no time to start a translation.

You may try VLC which has its own decoding libs or MPLayer : http://www1.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/releases/win32/ (MPlayer is the most powerful movie player, it is only available as a command line soft right now but there's quite a lot of frontends) Once you've launched your movie, search in their main windows, there should be some infos on which codec is used. Use GSpot to find if the proper codec is installed on your machine.

I think you can apply the update. However, it is possible that a folder in ProgramFiles is created. Maybe you should try in a VM first.
