hello gangs, I want a tip from u. say i m viewing a webpage and i have a hyperlink in that. i open a folder in my (local ) machine. I drag and drop the hyper link into that folder.. it creates a shorcut in that folder with that hyperlinks name. Can i make a full content of the webpage into the folder without creating a short cut???? I think this can be created using "ACTIVE X".not much sure.... but other solutions and ideas are also most welcome.. Please pour in your suggestions. hi dman and others, can u tell me a freeware that will help striping down or cutting down an "mp3" file... i tried with "VCD cutter".. it is saying an error..i dont get wat it tells... i think the version of that is old... so any free ware to cut a part of a mp3 file so that it can be made as a tune to my cell phone... also tell me the site for them... thanks and regards, Ootsoo

hey dudes, I want to ask a question in IE. I m using IE .6 for brwsing.. i did "Complete auto use" option for remebering the "User names " that i type for each n every site... so say i have a site "www.xyz.com" and i have "auser" , "buser" for logining in ths site! so if i press the down arrow in the sign here box i will get both of the user names one below the other... say if i need to remove "auser" alone from the list is it possible to do ???? clearing history deletes all the user names from the list... i dont want that option to go ... reagrds, Ootsoo

hello bossesssss, let me add some more views that made me post this question... I had a conversation with my friend [both of us are new entrants to this field ] under this topic of cpp or java! he is a management master and he views everything in buisness mode. so he told "cpp" projects are cheaper and also robust. There is no need to get the s/w or jdk bla bla for it..just do it.... but i felt "Java" is so advanced and simpler. Also felt that very cute applications can be done in seconds as there are classes for each and every thing.. Apart from that i too admit that mastering "JAVA" needs a hectic "memory power" apart from "logical skills" of cpp. Please add a few more flavour for this boss... B) thanks and regards, Ootsoo

Is it adviseble to charge any "Hand held " devices like PDA, rechargable batteries of any electronic gadgets daily without its charge getting drained completly? That too in particular to "Mobile phones"! hey dudes, please help me as m new to programming. I just want to know wat is DLL? hi all, A funny problem arised in my friends computer after he installed a CD-Writer. He is having a P4-processor with 256 MB SDram and the opeartins system is MS Windows 98 Second edition. Actually we instaalled a new CD-writer and NERO software along with it. After a few burnings , we tried making a CD-CD writing [ source is a 52-x-CD Rom]. Nero caches the source and then writes it to the detination cd. We were succesfull for a couple of burns... but after that the memory has taken upto a worst postion that renaming a directory name takes arnd 2 mns. even rebooting the machine for series of time also ended as a useless job. So i want u people to suggest us a "MEMORY CLEANER" that could solve the fuss... please tell a free ware that could be betteerr. Also i m doubt that Operating system will handle all these memory issues but y is win 98 not doing it?Please lemme know the hint behind it toooooo thanks for the responses m to get.. domo arigato konichiwa regards, Ootsoo

hi all In regards to "trapping a picture in a cell" , i need further more clarifications. Instead of protecting the worksheet (which causes resizing of the other cells also as hassle) is there any solution to protect that particular cell alone??? Can u suggest any VB program that helps to sort out that problem? (there is a method in VB form to add a picture in comment box..is there any such for alloting the picture in a cell and trapiing it ) If any small application is there please send me a jist of it please!!!
