  2. Well i found out why they ran out of keys I am a Technet Plus subscriber and have received through the mail 3 different keys, plus another 5 in various email addresses. I can obviously only use one at a time, so why the overkill, they already know as soon as is released i will be buying yet another installment of the money drain that is Windows, which will be my 9th key for Vista. Makes you wonder sometimes what they are up to

  4. with the specs in my sig, Oblivion plays very well on my RC1 Vista. I have had no problem with stuttering or jerkiness at all. and i still seem to be playing at the same speed i was on XP. I have done nothing different just installed in native Vista, no compatibility mode or anyting. Hope this helps Tony
  5. I installed 32 RC1 no probs at all, smooth as silk. 64 however, totally different story. Booted from disk ok, let me choose HDD, went through beginning, 1st reboot, BANG. Nothing. Black screen, rebooted manually started ok, went to black screen again and again. Couldnt install at all. Ended up giving up and now just use XP and 32 RC1 Vista. Shame cos i really wanted to try the 64 as am gettig a new CPU this week
  6. i reported one major bug (to my mind anyway) trying to play music in Winamp pro with Vista Beta 2, would play around 2 minutes and then crash resulting in a hard reboot. To my surprise, this no longer happens in RC1, did they take notice of little ole me, or did others have same issue ? Me wonders but is happy with life at moment
  7. Would that be if they don't run out again
  8. to install doesnt need a key, to activate yes he does, if had beta 2 then can use same key according to Microsoft
  9. my system got a 4, thanks to the CPU (which is about to be replaced) but my graphics got a 5.9? Now if this is out of 10, my ATI X1900XTX should have surely got a 10? Strange
