Heres what ive been using with it /s /v"/qn IEXPLORER=1 JAVAUPDATE=1 EULA=1 Dont think the " needs to be in there but it still works for me. you can change IEXPLORER for FIREFOX. The 1's just say accept eula, install for IE and enable update

Hi guys. I personally use ketarin and wpi. They work v well together. E.g wpi is set to install vlc media player silently and i have this set in my installs programs folder. I have ketarin in root directory and i have it set to check every prog in my wpi install folder and if theres an update it will auto download and replace that file to keep all my installers uptodate Hope that helps

Hi guys ive been working on this program. Its probably in alpha release right now so just testing but if you wanna check it out the link is here comp analysis when first run it will create an ini file with locations to the installers. please amend to fit your software layout. green tick indicates its already installed or fine red cross means its not. if you wish to fix that click on the icon and it will turn to a yellow arrow then when you click fix selected it will install them. the blue icon indicates ie or mbam is installed but not latest stable version. again click on icon to install. Any problems let me know jamie

hi sorry no, not had that problem. i know it sounds strange and is prob a bit ocd but when im making a new disk i always put a fresh normal install on my pc, running along side my other os and just install the progs and tools i need, i know then that there are no corruptions or file problems and especially no viruses.

Hi jootfish I like the idea about the key for use on other peoples machines.whilst fishing around my computerin search of addons i noticed a file i had, i searched the forums and found it here http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showto...p;p=796961& about half way down someone created a program you could possibly use. if you run it in wpi at the end of your installation (you could possibly automate it using autoit as well) it allows you to change the owner details, change the cd key used and also its apparently performs an online registration. Ive not used the Registration part myself as i possibly have a less than reputable key myself let me knwo how you get on

Hi Jootfish I have had similar issues with a retail version of pro andnlie. when i selected settings nlite never carried them out. i have eventually come up with a way that works for me and i have also used it with a oem home version although the activation is manual at the end. I use a clean XP (pro, home or oem) source and all of my sources already have sp2 installed. I use ryanvm integrgator to slipstream sp3 and his site also has some great other addons such as flash player, shockwave, direct x and a post sp3 update pack that i then integrate using the same program into my source. i then test it in virtual pc and if all is ok then i open up nlite and use it just to select components, langages, keyboards to remove and set up my theme i want, integrate specific drivers etc... i have always found that it never quite sets up the users properly or the screen size. so my final step is opening it all up in windows unattended cd creator and then set up my users and set my screen size etc (this program does it properly) (sorry nuhi no offence intended just this is what ive found). i also use this program to get windows to run windows post installer prorgam when its finished installing to add any extra programs i want. hope this helps. if you figure out how to fully automate oem activation let me know pls

Hi first off to say wow what a wonderful program. brilliant and innovative. a bit late in my praise but better late than never. Ok my suggestion. I often re install win xp on many peoples computer and when i made my first fully unnattended dvd with windows and wpi it was fantastic however. i have set a few small programs to install from wpi once xp install is complete, then for each different computer for different people they all have different software needs. i have multiple copies of xp on my disk. could you have a feature that looks for the computer name and loads a different install profile for each automatically? thanks

Hi im not sure about that. however you can use ctupdate as part of your unnattended install. its an offline updater and a very good one at that. If you goto http://www.heise.de/ct/projekte/offlineupdate/ this has the program on. its very easy to use.

Hi You could be on about "Nlite" or "windows cd creator" but in hosesty there are alot of programs out there.

Hi Ive looked all over for a program to suit my needs and cant find one so i decided to create one myself. After i use my unattended dvd to install windows XP and all of the programs that i want i find that somettimes i have to update my programs and i wanted something to do this for me. I have started to make the program pictured below in autoit. It so far updates AVG antivirus and Spybot S&D. It runs the script and uses the programs own updaters to perform the update. I have also been working on some code to check for version numbers and check against online ver numbers so it can update that way but that will be foir a future version. Whilst making this i also thought about other things it could do when i had finished my install or even whilst i left my computer on downloading, it could also perform other tasks so that my computer runtime wouldnt be used totally just for downloading. So i introduced tasks it could do such as running crap cleaner to get rid of temp files, running windows defrag and disk cleaner or JKDefrag and do a spyware check. I have uploaded 3 screens. 2 showing th eprogram as it currently is and another for what i have made for the future versions. I hope to add a section to update numerous antivirus and spyware programs and also firewalls and programs liek itunes, acrobat maybe even display and other drivers. Please let me knwo what you think and any programs or tasks you would like ot see it do for when i release a alpha version. If you have any ideas let me know or if anyone has already created a program like this Thanks

Hi There is a program included withing the tools package of Windows post installer. i cant remember the link sory but i fyou google it you will find it. You just run the program and it cleans your desktp of all shortcuts
