hi, I have a new motherboard which allows for vcore highering for overclocking my 4200+ better. (currently 2.64GHz), but I am having to use stock cooling as I can't find a different hsf that will physically fit onto my motherboard as there is limited room around the CPU socket. The motherboard in question is an aNit NF-M2 nView motherboard. If anyone knows of a good cooler for these, please could you let me know? Thanks HougTimo

Hi, In my latest nLited CD of Server 2003 SP1, I have managed to disable half of my start menu. I am fairly sure this is one of the tweaks, however which one I am not sure. Picture of Problem: If this is a reg key, could someone tell me which one? Thanks HougTimo

Right, I recently built myself a new machine. It is housed in an Antec Superlanboy case, and I am just wandering where it would be best to put my hard drive. In the diagram, The red oval is where there is a 120mm case fan, the blue dot is where my hard drive currently is, and the gree dt is where im thinking of moving it too. Would it be better off in the middle of the hard drive enclosure, or is it ok where it is? THanks Tim

Your processor isn't stable. That's a typical BSOD of the processor requiring more Vcore or at an OC wall. Thats what I'm saying, and I can't increade the Vcore, because the motherboard will only go upto 1.35v, unless someone knows of a voltmod for it? HougTimo

EDIT :: NVM found it. Nope, even with the HT set low, its still BSODing, i also had a huge divider on ram, so does this bring up back to the voltage problem?

is HT the NB-SB or cpu - NB/SB link?

Mine is 3.1, thanks to my crappy geforce 6100 onboard graphics (althought it runs glass nicely), but my processor reaches 5.6

Hi, I purchased 1gb of DDR2 667MHz ram for my new pc (am2, athlon64 x2 4200+), but when i put the new ram in the system didn't even post. put the old 512chip back in and it was fine again. Is this a faulty ram chip or is there something im missing here? HougTimo

Right, I've had some success. My processor will clock right up to 3GHz easily, but only when dual core support is turned off in the bios. The bluescreen i was getting was "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" could it be a windows problem? or driver problem? HougTimo

Hi, I have recently upgraded my rig to an athlon 64 x2 4200+ (socket am2). I have tried to OC this, as some people have got in excess of 3GHz of of it, but if i go above 230htt windows BSODs on me or freezes. Is there something im missing here?
