  1. The latest beta build as of now (April 22nd) still works on 7!
  2. Since the 500 series cards are still technically Fermi , could those cards work with the 258.96 driver if they were added ?
  3. I use 2 1080p monitors with my i3 9100f gtx 460 rig, with the 258.96 driver !
  4. I know it won't be easy, but with time and if the community helps out it can probably work out !
  5. @blackwingcat When you start working on the extended kernel v3.2 these are some things that could possibly be added to it (some people on reddit came up with this list): functional Security Center and Windows Firewall (backported from Windows XP SP3) Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 (without license issues) Microsoft Office 2010 (without any installation issues) VirtualBox (up to 5.2.44) VMware Workstation (support up to 10.0.7) and VMware Player (support up to 6.0.7) (without any installation issues) Add SSE3 support (and still keep SSE2 support) Full exFAT file system support without any unformatted issues Microsoft Security Essentials 4.2.223 (without any installation issues) Avast Free Antivirus (support up to 18.8.2356) without any installation issues Fixed empty Gadget Gallery "bug" on Windows Sidebar 6.0 for Windows 2000 (even with Extended Kernel) to allow adding gadgets as making it more functional. Functional Rufus 2.18 (to allow creating bootable USB flash drives on Windows 2000) Allow MiniChrome 87, 360Chrome 12.0 & 13.5 (based on Chromium 86), and XPChrome (based on Chromium 115) to function and work properly without any crashing/problems on Windows 2000 (even with Extended Kernel). Steam (version for Windows XP) without closing issues on Windows 2000. Battle.net for Windows XP Fixed freezing bug with WindowBlinds 4 (even if PrintWindow function is enabled) Tuneup Utilities 2013 support Keyboard bugfix (to allow the keyboard to function) for PCEM v17 on Windows 2000 Latest zoom version for Windows XP (with working screen share) on Windows 2000 Windows Live Essentials 2009 (fully works) Windows Powershell 2.0 Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 (without crashing) on Windows 2000 (CS4 loads on 2000 currently, but then when I create a project it crashes) GPT disk + UEFI support (ported from XP/32 bit 2003?) Also, for the Extended Core v1.7: Support up to 2TB of RAM on the server editions, or at least 128GB on 2000 Pro (2TB on all versions should be fine) Working VMware Workstation 10.0.7 / VMware Player 6.0.7 drivers Working VirtualBox 5.2.44 drivers Working newer USB ethernet / wireless network adapters (that required Windows XP SP2/SP3) Working Avast Antivirus 18.8.2356 kernel drivers (that required XP SP3) Add USB 3.0+USB 3.1+USB 3.2, and NVMe support for Intel/AMD and other manufacturer motherboards Could this be done eventually? Thank you
  6. So, I tried this modded USB driver from daniel_k for intel USB3 on Windows 2000, and it does work on intel b365 and z390, but when I installed it on my asus Z790 board, it causes a kmode_exception_not_handled BSOD. Would it be possible to get this driver working on Z690/Z790 so I can get my 13700k fully running on 2000. Daniel has not updated the driver since new years eve 2019 and yet the intel sata driver listed still somehow works on Z790 despite not being a universal driver
  7. Hi @blackwingcat, Would it be possible to backport the kernel mode driver framework 1.11, and microsoft's generic usb3/NVME/SATA, just like it was done for XP ? Thanks !
  8. Could you please repost this? It is archived and I cannot download this. I would like to try this
  9. I wasn't sure what the workaround was as the video got taken down.
  10. What was this if you don't mind me asking? The video got taken down
  11. I was able to install my gtx 460 with vanilla sp4, you just need to manually install the driver in the device manager.
  12. @daniel_kHi, when I try the USB driver on my i5 8400, it works fine! However, when I try installing it on my Z690 12900k system, I get a KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED blue screen. Do you know why this is ? Could it be something with ACPI? On the i5 8400, I think I used MPS mode. I wouldn't think it is not compatible, because otherwise it either would say it can't find compatible hardware, or there would be an error code, like 10. Also, I got it working on the coffee lake system without the extended kernel.
  13. Hi everyone! So, I managed to pretty much get x64 XP running on my 12900k! USB n all, including the chipset thanks to XP2ESD! However, after I installed my GTX 770 drivers (both 355.98 and 368.81), I rebooted, and it just hangs at the XP boot screen. Oddly enough, sometimes when I say "Last known good config", it boots perfectly, even with my GPU drivers working! But, it is not consistant, and for the most part, it does not even work (does the same thing). Even safe mode doesn't boot at times!
  14. I am pretty sure I tried Windows 2000's modded ACPI driver made by BlackWingCat (he only made one as far as I know), and it didn't work on any machine I tried it on. I tried XP's ACPI drivers (integrated it just as I did into the XP ISOs, and I got an "ACPI.sys is corrupted." error when the initial files are loading. Also they should backport Microsoft's xHCI Root Hub and the KMDF 1.11. Also NVMe etc. It would be great !!!!!
  15. x64 is decent, with my Renesas USB controller. The only things hooked up to my onboard USB is my keyboard and mouse. Also interested in running 2000
  16. I actually got x64 working somewhat well, although I only have the USB ports enabled with my keyboard and mouse. I also have a Renesas USB3 PCIe card that I am using for now. Will the XP x86 ACPI driver work for 2K ?!?!?!☺☺
  17. Welp, after disabling the AMD USB 2.0 Hub, and some USB composite devices, I managed to get 32 bit XP to load normally with keyboard and mouse, however after I plug in my webcam (or anything else for that matter), and then I reboot, it once again goes to a blank screen after loading. However, it doesn't hang. I am able to turn on/off num lock caps lock and scroll lock on the usb keyboard, and there is some disk activity
  18. I updated my BIOS to the latest, and am now trying XP SP3 with the OSFake ACPI.sys. Same problems
  19. Hmm... maybe when I get home I will try and update my BIOS, and worsecase try 32 bit XP.
  20. I notice that it loads fine without any usb ports enabled at all, or if there are only, say, 2 of them enabled, and even then, only the usb keyboard or mouse can be used. Only 1. In fact, even non keyboard things will cause it not to load normally, and sometimes not even in safe mode. I disabled the HID for the LED controller already
