YES! i surely format my pc using drive image (where i created a little installation with XP Sp1) and then straight updating to SP2 and at the end....reinstall everything, tons of GB of apps and games

mmm ok i'll start now! i'm hearing of this SP2 since months. i think my XP works very well but i'm forced to install this SP2 because of these rumours. I've just update my windows update to V5 and it's very nice, i just hope it'll works as well as V4. i'm afraid because the italian version of Sp2 will be one of the latest to be released so...go on waiting again....but PLEASE PLEASE SP2 COME TO ME, COME TO MY PC W SP2!!!

hi guys! today for it's me is an unlucky day, fullo f trouble here now i got missing scrollbars on both winamp and windows media player, so i can't fast forward my videos... i think it is because of some plugins...but i didn't install anyhting rcently. are there any files i have to restore or replace? @MCT: the cursor is at the very top of the page, but when i go to the print preview there is a margin of 2 cm to the border (as it should appear on the print layout of word). @prathapml: it seems everything fine, because i remember that when i installed that and ran it for the very first time (just to configure some toolbar) it looked fine. is it very nececssary to reinstall again? is there a lil shortcut

Hi Guys! I got a problem with my Word 2003, as you can see from my attached screenshot. When i start to write, it begins very near the border of the page instead of usual after 3 or 4 lines below. And when i reach the end of the page it starts again to write near the border. When i do print preview it seems to print correctly. How can i fix this visual bug? Please help me if you know something. Thanks

try to reinstall this patch from microsoft: Q817357_WXP_SP2_x86_ENU.exe or look for Q817357 on the microsoft website. hope this helps

i'm looking for a tool not too hard to use who can work onto the registry and does these things: for example who can edit and remove these unused apps from msconfig.exe and another feature i'd like to find is to edit the ADD/REMOVE voices (for example sometimes some apps doesn't uninstall completely and leave their name onto the menu)
