  1. Should these drivers be removed because they still cause bsod problems? If they're used after an install and still cause a bsod the hw-id's can be submitted...
  2. PCI\VEN_1106&DEV_3059&SUBSYS_53601462&REV_10\3&61AAA01&0&8D : VIA AC'97 Enhanced Audio Controller (WDM) I thought this driver was fully supported by the combined via driver in the pack but on one machine I had to get the actual driver from the msi website. http://us-download.msi.com.tw/support/dvr_.../viasound75.zip
  3. @ruudboek i tried the very latest realtec ac97 driver on one machine (WDM_A381.exe) and it bsoded portcls. The machine was a packard bell and the actual driver was a sigmatel.
  4. Yes I had problems with the wrong drivers being installed for certain tv cards. One of the terratec drivers and whql verified and took control from lots of other cards so i disabled it in the end. Remember that one of the drivers is a generic driver. Also maybe it should be documented the generic pvr tv viewing apps like dscaler and media portal. + they'll be some linux ones.
  5. fantastic! does anyone know how to circumvent the rapidshare download amount tracking? i've looked for cookies and tried using a proxy , neither work. waiting 1hr for a file is a joke. makes it impossible for me to maintain the 3rd party driverpacks
  6. I had some problems with the sis driver for 1. 661FX/M661FX/M661MX 2. 760/760GX/M760/M760GX 3. 651/650/M650 4. 741/741GX/M741 5. 661GX/M661GX 6. 662/M662/M662MX 7. 761GX/761GL/M761GX On a laptop with tv-out i had to install the raw driver to get the systray control panel modifications to enable the tv-out. Could the tv out control panel be installed by the base package? I've also had some problems with the twister k and had to manually install, sorry to be vague about these. As I test the dp's with 5+ pc's a week compatiblity issues are pretty rare so I thought I'd flag these 2. g.
  7. i've upped version 1.6 of the monitor pack
  8. I know lots of sigmatel drivers are now included but i've found some annoying packard bell machines don't pick the driver up. I've attached a working driver. Also some sad new i tried the very latest realtec ac97 driver on this machine WDM_A381.exe and it picked this driver up and bsoded... <removed attachment, because there's no more need for it to be online>
  9. is there a way to integrate .net in with nlite?
  10. I've got together the sony and neuvo drivers which were lost along the way, i'm a bit worried about the length of the path names though. bts always shortens his. I'm going to try and add the drivers in a single folder but separate \c \t as crt and tft. my aoc drivers seem to have been duplicated, not sure why.
  11. i updated the monitor pack and all the other contribs... pretty easy when it's a team effort eh?
  12. great news muiz, plenty of this hardware is nothing i would ever use but many consumer pc's do and it's often very hard to track down. Many hours of work gone into these packs.
  13. best thing to do is use the pathchanger app which can be downloaded from this forum and set the windows driver search path to be a network share or dvdrom drive, then reset back when all the drivers are found. g.
  14. I'm due to make a new disk this week, is this new base safe to use? I'm going to be using method 2 like muiz
  15. Location change It's too much for me to admin the 3rd party packs, cutting and pasting new packs into this head thread. I've moved all the packs to the unattended wiki so that anyone can edit and update the packs directly. Any pack discussion can go on bts's new forum. uawiki 3rdparty TV_Tuner_Cards.htm
  16. oh i hadn't noticed the other dude had made a pack, i'm now combining the two and adding some more cards. then i'll upload to rapidshare. On the BSOD front i've never had one, the only issue with this pack is the terratec drivers, some of which i've disabled because they install themselves for practically every card i've tested the driverpack on. So if you know you have a terratec card just rename the the inf file.
  17. I've uploaded new versions of tv and modem and additions. Had to shutdown site because i went over my bandwidth can anyone setup a mirror? bash could u take a look at the additions pack
  18. trident 4dwave tested , not part of windows driver cab Trident4dwave.7z
  19. http://support.packardbell-europe.com/supp...880400.asp?c=ap this driver isn't covered by the stac97.inf generic in the driverpack b. I don't know what the hw_id is or where to find a decompressed version. nice work with the new dp's bash.
  20. I've just installed winxp 64bit and i set my program files location to be on d: but only for my 64bit programs. anyone know what the winsif command for setting the 32bit programs location? On a side note when i first installed the system my unattended disk somehow corrupted my d: partition and i had to reformat it. good things i had it backed up but usually you can just install safe in the knowledge that only c: will be touched. oh well. 21. I'm trying to create a win2k cd with this sp5.1 integrated. When i run the exe it does extract a load of files to a d:\something\i386 , do i just copy these into my win2ksource\i386 directory? + can i use this hotfix with nlite? Do i add it as a hotfix or servicepack? cheers. g.

  23. Does anyone know if this pack is compatible with ryans beta pack which i have to use because it limits the number of cat files which had previously gone over the 150 limit v2 beta3. Apparently there was an issue with the hd audio detection. ta, g.
  24. gilesw

    long boot up

Ahh i think i may have reached the 150cat file limit that people experience when using nlite and ryanvm's update pack.
  25. i get this same problem with the latest rc1 version of nlite with all 3 of ryanvm's updatepacks. So for me at least the sfp popups issue hasn't been fixed.
