  1. wow you're a life saver!! I just used that UBCD4WinDriversV12.exe file, bts has competition! g.
  2. I'm using the Driverpack LAN with bartpe. You just drop all the network drivers into \pebuilder\drivers\net\ I'm getting some errors with a few drivers though. most importantly the nforce drivers which is annoying. Error: File "D:\pebuilder\drivers\Net\MI\MN110-50.SYS" does not exist... 3. I just add bts's lan driverpack to the drivers\net folder of bart pe... It contains practically all the lan drivers for xp. I don't know whether bartpe parses down all the folder levels but i've never had it not be able to find a lan driver. g.
  4. well if you use the source i mentioned and xpcreate you won't have any issues, i even integrates bts's massstorage drivers, 45minutes unattended install that works on any pc
  5. i just used the official updates thread sadly there seem to be a few updates missing, oh well.
  6. the 7 issue must be something todo with your browser, i downloaded a file today. kxproject is a set of alternative sblive and audigy drivers, i don't have a card to test them on so i'm hoping someone can try them out, i need to find a way of installing the mixer, which is lightweight and powerful compared to the creative bloat. the registry change is simply ms\windows\currentver\run and it's a modem controller app that run at startup, u just remove it. It may be needed for some modems, all i know is that the drivers install fine. I'm upping another pack called additions which is just some extra drivers i use and some updates. Also i'm starting a peripherals pack, pretty basic atm i was hoping that someone would post the monitor profiles but nothings happened...
  7. I've tested a fresh install with the driverpacks and a geforce mx4000. Xp picked the old microsoft nvidia drivers though. Is this normal behaviour ? I have the newer drivers in my driverpack. I'm using method 2 and ktd. ah ha, unsigned nvidia driver. tx, g.
  8. righty i've just tested it, worked great
  9. i'm trying to add the new nforce ethernet drivers DriverVer = 04/06/2005, 4.8.2 i've got all the files for \nv\ but not for \nv\o which is this nvenet.sys driver. is this an old driver or something for earlier nforces? ta, g.
  10. i work in a pc store and i re-install hundreds of different pc's each month so i feel this pack is getting a good test. XP doesn't support all modems by a long way. It just happens to support some of the most popular ones. I've actually had issues with amr modems using the xp drivers but not dialing properly, the generic drivers seem to work far better. There is an issue with them trying to install a control panel but that can be fixed by just editing the registry. I've never had a bsod from a modem, only massstorage. g.
  11. RHPT3XX.SY_ this file isn't copied with a unattended bartpe install (using the dosnet.inf file) nice that dosnet.inf is almost working, i thought it was never going to be done.
  12. first post contains supported drivers, first driver is the generic agere driver you list
  13. sorry if i'm being a lamo but why is it essential to have oempreinstall = yes in the winnt.sif file? If it's set to no then you have the fall back of using a boot floppy for masstorage drivers. tx, g.
  14. added terratec support now. If anyone can think of any other manufacturers then post to the thread and i'll try and add them. g.
  15. i just updated it now, enjoy. any issues just post to the thread i guess. g.
  16. I'd like it if a soundblaster live/audigy user could try out these kx audio drivers. kxaudio I don't have a sb card in stock, i want to see how/if the mixer control panel can be installed. The kx mixer and drivers are much more lightweight the creative ones, i used to use them when i had a live 1024 because it was the only way to get asio support. pm me if you have any luck with them, g.
  17. would be good if you could add the two drivers in this attachment. 1. ite cir monitor, this comes in lots of ideq xpc's and controls fan speeds 2. via infra red , found on lots of laptops, ali irda already included Chipset.7z
  18. I've been trying to do the same thing and have had success. I slipstreamed all the updates with xpcreate (which is nice and modular.) I then ran dp base and selected option 2 with keep the drivers, this again keeps things modular. Then i run a a sysprep reseal (with buildmassstorage)on the installed system and create a ghost image. This image can now be used to get any system up and running with all the drivers in about 15minutes. I've not tested sata yet though. g.
  19. This is a collection of nasty usb drivers used with modems and internet adapters that come free with most UK broadband packages. please email me if you know of any more or have tested the pack. http://www.idoopc.co.uk/dp it's designed to be used with the "keep the drivers" method. version 1.1 ran driver compressor ------------ Analog devices ------------ usb adsl modem ------------------- aei ----------------- usb to ethernet converter --------------------ntl-------------------- USB Cable Modem 351000 ------------------- smc------------------- usb to ethernet converter -------------------thomson alcatel ------------- speedtouch 300 g.
  20. erm maybe i'm being thick but is there a way to make this installer totally silent, at the moment i get prompts for where i want to install it, other than that it works great. g.
  21. I've now downloaded all the updates after feb 10th (from the msfn updates thread) and i'm wondering if i can get them to work with xpcreate... new malware removal tool... SVC-MRT\Windows-KB890830-V1.4-ENU.exe all the other 5 updates in SVC-HF1 i'm going to try them out later this month. g.
  22. i used xpcreate and used the xp11in1 dvd which can be found online as my source. This corrected this error. I also didn' t slipstream the updated macromedia flash. g.
