I just tried that, TikTok doesn't allow to login from a VPN, only browsing, and only from a good VPN. So it's not a solution for many users. It's a trend, they all fight VPN to mine your data even more. Instagram does the same, and they don't allow to make an account from VPN, just like Tiktok.

You're very welcome! As an advice to a friend, there's a much higher chance to get a decent HDD inside of My Book, and then simply throw the box away. It will save you money. It's usually cheaper than buying a retail dive. But like I said, please do a research, people oftenly post photos of what they get inside of that box.

Cixert, as of lately, I enjoy WD models they acquired from Hitachi, they are still made by Hitachi. For example, take a look, the HDD is almost always on 24/7, since 2020, no problems so far. Millions of reads/writes almost every day, heavy usage. But they need proper cooling. But a simple vent would do just fine, too.
