  3. @D.Draker, surely you did this at the beginning of care of your wounds, yes first it is necessary to clean them very carefully with antiseptic, for example with betadine or the one that does not stain: CHLORHEXIDINE/BENZALKONIUM/ALCOHOL BENZYLIQUE - spray of Biogaran. If your wounds become red - it's inflammation, first see your pharmacist, or doctor, and maybe go to the Emergency of the Hospital! Do not get them wet, wrap the foot in plastic before showering. I hope you are not alone at home. I don't move lately too far...

  7. Winter Islands - by Tim Kellner I spent one of the harshest months of the year wandering and trekking over a few of the more northern islands in the world. I knew it wasn't going to be easy, but nothing could quite prepare me for the brutal shooting conditions and loneliness of a month alone in those parts. It pushed me to my limits. Many would prefer the more tropical islands but for me the winter islands are where I come alive. The cold otherworldly landscapes and deep dark color palettes contrast meeting the warm and inviting people that have made these places home. Music: By me Locations: Faroe Islands, Lofoten , Dover While on this trip I was shooting photos for a book of meditations If you're interested in checking it out. amazon.com/My-Heart-Cries-Out-Meditations/dp/1433556812 Alaska - by Tim Kellner When I was a kid I would stare up at the giant stuffed grizzly bear in the Buffalo Science Museum and imagine seeing it alive and in the wild. That dream finally came true. I can't even begin to describe with words my experiences in Alaska so hopefully this video will capture just a small piece. Music: By me Arctic - by Tim Kellner I think over again my small adventures, my fears Those small ones that seemed so big. For all the vital things I had to get and to reach. Islandia - is a Latin name for Iceland and relative to the old language since this film portraits primordial and rough nature of Iceland. For the short duration of the film, you will be transported to a place that easily could be a million years ago. From unbelievable landscapes and vast valleys to painting-like terrain and majestic waterfalls and lakes - this film shows the unparalleled beauty of Iceland and its unearthly glory. Please sit back and enjoy the flight.: Loving Lofoten - by Video Bros. I spent 3 weeks in Lofoten, Senja, Andoya and Vesteralen and discovered the true beauty of this place. It's magical to see the mountains rise up from the sea, to see the fjords, the amazing landscapes, the midnight sun, the clouds, and the lovely villages. It was also a great time to visit the Lofoten Islands with it's 24 hours of daylight in the summer. I absolutely loved the midnight sun! I won't forget the midnight hike to the top of the Segla (Senja) or standing above the clouds in Tromso. This film is a collection of the unforgettable experiences. Enjoy the video :-)

  13. ...Cane Toads In Oz (on the previous page) Yes, animals give us a good example, that first of all it's love that counts in life....it is enough to reach out a hand and the animals go to it. In the forest there was a pond, and it was full of toads, in the spring. It was the time of love, all the toads loved each other. It was enough for me to stretch out my hand, and some of them went to me, climbed on it, full of love for me! All of them were smeared in mud as a defense against birds of prey (eagles); seeing an eagle, the toads froze motionless and thus became invisible to the soaring eagles...That's why it is forbidden to clean the toads of mud - because they would become visible to predators! The same happens, for example, with dragonflies: you pull your finger out very slowly, and already the dragonfly carefully enters your hand - a wonderful experience! And they allow you to take beautiful pictures , I have a lot of them. All nature is positively disposed to other living things, flies too, well .... - except the carnivorous animals! I do not recommend experiences with lions or wolves, which you do not know.... Do you have similar experiences?.. https://getwallpapers.com/collection/dragonflies-wallpaper

  18. Baby bear sits crying and lost on side of road - mother died in car crash By: Sina Lück n Tennessee, a mother bear is killed by a car. After the accident, the baby sits crying on the side of the road. It urgently needs a replacement mama. Tennessee (USA) - In the US state of Tennessee, a bear cub sits desperately on the side of the road, crying. Where is mummy? The baby probably asks itself this question over and over again. What the helpless animal does not know is that its mama is not coming back. Because shortly before, the mother bear was killed by a car - and now can no longer protect her baby. Mother bear killed by car - her baby sits crying by the roadside Without their mothers, bear cubs can only survive from the age of about five months. Until then, they are completely dependent on them. When a passerby discovers the animal, only a few weeks old, in the Cherokee National Forest in Tennessee, it is immediately clear to him: the baby bear urgently needs help. He immediately alerts the non-profit bear rescue "Appalachian Bear Rescue" (ABR), which cares for orphaned and injured black bears. They also take the new bear cub into their care and affectionately name him "Peace Bear." All night long, keeper Coy feeds the little bear, who is to be moved to a new foster home as soon as possible. An orphaned bear cub cries for its mama. Because baby bear "Peace Bear" lost his mama, his rescuers find him a new home. © Facebook (Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency) Mother bear killed by car - wildlife caretakers find perfect replacement mama Mother bears adopting other people's cubs, while not uncommon, is a very delicate undertaking. "Timing is critical," Bear Rescue emphasizes on its Facebook page. "The first challenge is finding a wild sow who can support another hungry cub." In the search for a new foster family, staff turn to the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA). Sure enough, they know the perfect surrogate mom for the little peace bear. TWRA officials tell the caretakers about a mother bear who is nursing two cubs of the same age. She has adopted orphaned babies in the past. Mother bear killed by car - rescuers carry Peace Bear in backpack to den With Peace Bear in their backpacks, Coy and TWRA Officer Steve Massengill set out the next morning for the bear den, located in the mountainous terrain of the Cherokee National Forest. On their hike, the men must stop repeatedly to feed the bear cub. "The foster cub has to be full enough not to make too many loud noises as you approach the den and hungry enough to be nursed by its new mother as soon as it enters the new den. It's a delicate balance!" As they approach their destination, they breathe a sigh of relief. For the mother bear is in the process of nursing her two cubs. "The timing was perfect!" the bear rescuers rejoice. Mother bear killed by car - now her baby has new siblings The reunion of the bears is also going like clockwork. Gently and with the necessary safe distance, Coy and Steve set the cub down at the entrance of the den. "Peace Bear dashed into the den very quickly. We caught one last glimpse of his little feet as he disappeared from sight to join his new bear family," Appalachian Bear Rescue is overjoyed. The mama bear also welcomes her foster child with open arms. She stretches out her paw and pulls the cub close to her. Wildlife keeper Coy is certain that Peace Bear feels right at home with his surrogate mother* and his new siblings. Because all he hears are happy noises from the nursing of the baby bear gang. For the animal patchwork family, the adventure will probably begin in mid-April: then the bears will leave their den and explore the big wide world. Take care, little bear! 19. Raccoon cuddles with deer: video shows how intimate their friendship is By: Lara-Sabrina Kiehl Raccoon "Jasper" is an orphan just like deer "Hope." In a wildlife sanctuary they get to know each other and from then on they are thick friends. Some friendships are simply connected by something very special. Often it's shared experiences that weld them together - but sometimes it's also the heavy blows of fate. They, too, often strengthen the invisible bond of friendship. Will this also be the case for raccoon "Jasper" and deer "Hope"? Perhaps yes, because both have lost their mama much too early, writes landtiere.de. Raccoon loves deer: Video shows the cute friendship Raccoon "Jasper" is just like deer "Hope" an orphan. In a wild animal sanctuary they get to know each other and are thick friends from then on. Every day, raccoon "Jasper" visits his friend "Hope." © Instagram (texasfawnandfriends) It's a rainy day when raccoon "Jasper" is abandoned by his mom. At this point, he is just three weeks old. But luckily, people find the helpless baby raccoon and call Carry Long, who runs a wildlife sanctuary. Although she specializes in rescuing orphaned deer through her nonprofit organization, Texas Fawn and Friends, she decides to take in the raccoon. 20. Like own baby: mama monkey raises orphaned kitten By: Ulrike Hagen Touching mother-love: at the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, a mama monkey lovingly raises an orphaned kitten. (Symbolic image) © imago A wild monkey lady adopts an abandoned kitten in the nature park of Ubud on Bali. Lovingly she raises it like her own baby - touching. Ubud/Bali - There are many touching examples of unconditional, interspecies love among animals: Whether from Canada, where a female dog lovingly raises orphaned raccoon babies, or from Kenya, of the orphaned hippo that found refuge with a 100-year-old turtle. The Dalmatian who adopted a pied lamb also warmed hearts. Now, in the monkey forest on Bali, an unusual and heartbreaking sight takes hold of visitors: an abandoned kitten found shelter and refuge there with: a mama monkey! Nature Park: Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary (Monkey Forest of Ubud) Province: Bali Monkeys housed: 1050 Size: 12 hectares Visitors/year: 10,000 Touching monkey love: macaque mom adopts orphaned kitten The Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, also known as the Monkey Forest of Ubud, is located in central Bali, Indonesia. The sanctuary is home to 1,049 Balinese long-tailed monkeys in their natural habitat. Balinese long-tailed monkeys, also known as crab-eating macaques, are smart, active and friendly animals that attract many visitors to the reserve every day. They live in social groups and have strong family ties. A monkey and a little kitten Female monkey raising kitten becomes attraction at Sacred Monkey Forest Because of their strong social streak, it's not uncommon for monkeys to even help raise offspring that aren't their own. Every month, about 10,000 people visit Sacred Monkey Forest to see these adorable monkeys. And in the midst of them is now a little spotted kitten who is being petted and cuddled by "her" monkey mom - because she is adopting the little creature as if it were her own child. Wild monkey mom adopts kitten and protects it as if it were her own baby The monkey cradles the kitten in her arms as if it were her own baby, and the mini-cat seems to adore her just as much. As befits a good mother, the "mama" carries her "baby" around the facility and supports the kitten's little bottom. She even conscientiously protects it from other monkeys that get too close. It is as heart touching as the story of a Labrador who adopted a wild pig. Unconditional love between monkey mom and "baby": no one knows where the kitten came from The photos of the monkey mom holding her cat in her arms are beautiful and clearly show the intimate relationship between the primate and the little velvet paw. Obviously, the two are inseparable. As heartsofpets.com reports, no one knows how the two met or how the kitten ended up in the monkey forest. But it is evident every day that the monkey is overjoyed to care for its "offspring." And the "baby" is infinitely grateful for the boundless love of its new mama. Abandoned kitten finds a new mom - touching story with a happy ending Best friends - or even families - just come in all shapes, sizes and even types. Like the dog who took care of little bunnies so they'd think he was their mommy, or the dog who adopted orphaned baby opossums, this story touches with a beautiful happy ending. 21. "Bambi" is 80 years old, and his morals are more important today than ever Even with less than a thousand words, a long and complicated production, a failure at the box office, and one scene that broke the hearts of countless children, Disney's classic adaptation of an anti-fascist novel by a Zionist writer became one of the most successful animated films of all time... The story of "Bambi", the classic film of the Disney studios from 1942, which is now celebrating its 80th anniversary, is a series of contrasts. On the one hand, it is a cute children's movie, almost plotless, most of which is dedicated to sweet little moments of Bambi and his friends frolicking in the forest. On the other hand, "Bambi's mother" has become synonymous with childhood trauma, and the moment of her death is not the only scary scene in the film... The agents of the Provincial Police (former gamekeeper) have in fact informed him that in September they will take him away... He had been abandoned by his mother - says Giovanni Del Zoppo, 58 - and I took him home, saving him. As a child I fed him with the bottle with the milk of the 70 goats raised by my daughter Sara. Then, gradually he grew up with feed, small fruits, sprouts and apples. He is one of the family and my granddaughters are very close to Bambi, that's what I called him. "... 22. MOTTO: "Although what they're saying is possible, this is by no means proof that it is true." Your Brain Gets Tired, and Scientists Now Know Why ... While participants worked, researchers used scanning technology called magnetic resonance spectrometry to measure levels of glutamate that had built up in the prefrontal cortex of their brains. Glutamate is a neurotransmitter that plays a major role in learning and memory, according to the Cleveland Clinic. It's needed in proper concentrations in the right places for your brain to function properly, but too much glutamate can cause neurons to become overexcited and lead to brain cell damage or death. Researchers found that people given more difficult mental tasks did indeed have higher levels of glutamate build up in their prefrontal cortex. Those participants also showed other signs of fatigue, including reduced pupil dilation.... 25. Lifestyle of the dodo revealed By James McNish Secrets of how the extinct dodo lived have finally been uncovered. Scientists examining the structure of the birds' bones have found new information about how quickly dodos grew, when they laid eggs and when they moulted. Researchers from the Museum and the University of Cape Town (UCT) combined evidence from the bones with the historical accounts of sailors that visited Mauritius, the birds' home. They also used information about the lifestyle of birds that still live on Mauritius... HERE: https://www.nhm.ac.uk/discover/news/2017/august/lifestyle-of-the-dodo-revealed.html
