Updated drivers for Windows XP SP3 and Windows 2003 SP2 (x32/x64) for modern hardware
Sorry that I ask the same question from page 105 again, but there where no answer yet. I am really interested if the modded acpi.sys (v6666 or v7777) affects system performance or if there would be some disadvantages. Can I use the modded acpi.sys file on old PC hardware (like Core2Duo or even older) ?

@Dietmar After reading many of your posts, I have a (surely dumb) question. You got XP SP3 to work on modern UEFI motherboards (z690,...), that's very interesting, did all your motherboards offer the CSM mode or did you get managed to run XP on a 32bit UEFI plattform like the Lenovo Flex10? Also I have heard of a GRUB loader to boot XP on an UEFI device.

Updated drivers for Windows XP SP3 and Windows 2003 SP2 (x32/x64) for modern hardware
Interesting question and would there be some disadvantages if I use the modded acpi.sys on other native supported plattforms (like intel g965) ?

Root Certificates and Revoked Certificates for Windows XP
Just for short information. In used the batch commands from this thread and encountered this for the first time: Crypt32 error ID is 6 Description is reading that threshold of 50 has reached and protocol operation will be skipped for 60 minutes. (Der crypt32-Schwellenwert von 50 Ereignissen wurde erreicht. Die Protokollierung wird für 60 Minuten ausgesetzt.)

Windows 11 First Impressions
Why use Win8/10/11? I cannot understand this. Capitalism is their goal. On every new M$ OS, more backward compatibilty is missing. They implement newer DirextX for every new OS, so that gamers need to switch their OS to newer ones if they want to play modern games. High OS -> more CPU power is needed, thats an insane policy against sustainably living, hundreds of (modern) "old" computers got thrown into city trash area every day. Programmers could do everything, but they don't want to, money interests are far more important than humanity. The same thing exist in the game developer industry. Userfriendly programmers would never remove compatibility. Hope to see a XP revival (driver support for all new GPUs, DX12 support, possibilty to install modern browser) or a massive switch-over-to-linux. It is time to stop the insanity, it's already urgent since 20 years...

I tried to access :www.elster.de/eportal/login/softpse But it's impossible to select a file for upload. The Button ("Durchsuchen") is unresponsive. I tried Mypal68 on other operating systems, but the problem persists. Button is working with Firefox 79 (Ubuntu). What exactly could be the problem?

But it makes a difference with WebGL1 usage, probably that's the point why some users encounter win32k.sys BSOD an others not? No YT problems I could report so far

I have two HP mobile PC's I encounter BSOD win32k.sys error with Arrandale 1st Gen Intel HD Graphics (GPU unit within CPU) Intel driver is official (latest), System XP SP3 Problem seems to be gone so far with: browser.tabs.remote.autostart = true to false The other Laptop is equipped with an intel X3100 (GMA950) onboard GPU Intel driver is modded (Chell 1.7b), GL-Version = 1.5, therefore no GL possible with mypal68 I never encounter BSOD with this PC, but if I remember back, I got BSOD win32k.sys with Firefox52ESR with latest official intel driver years ago. I switched to Chell 1.7b and the problem was gone. The Chell driver will not be detected from Firefox, so no D3D or GL possible I think, the problem is not the OS or the GPU Hardware, probably it's the Firefox hardware acceleration (D3D/GL) which causes this win32k.sys error. Probably the hardware acceleration feature uses GPU memory (instead of system RAM), which isn't enough? On page 17, there's test release, how can I help? I have Intel X3100, X4500 and Intel HD 1st Gen. GPU
