My Browser Builds (Part 4)
mina7601 replied to roytam1's topic in Browsers working on Older NT-Family OSes
Tried on Serpent 55 and they don't render at all there either, except for that blue "Upgrade" link at the top right. Unfortunately, Dropbox doesn't load at all on Serpent 52. -
My Browser Builds (Part 4)

Hi, I admit I didn't touch my Dropbox recently, but since I saw this reply, I logged in today to Dropbox. If I understand you correctly, you are wondering where's the sign out option. The sign out option is there, at the Account menu (which is next to the bell icon): -
Yes, can confirm. And changing icon view while at My Pictures folder shows a Internet Explorer script error.
-
Yes, it is.
-
Yep, it's broken.
-
Thanks, printing function is working fine.
-
Good release, but unfortunately, it breaks printing function.

My Browser Builds (Part 4)
mina7601 replied to roytam1's topic in Browsers working on Older NT-Family OSes
Well, you mentioned it was today's, and my eyes have went over it, so I tested the last week's again by mistake! Yes, last week's runs perfect, it's indeed today's that crashes upon startup as you said. -
My Browser Builds (Part 4)
mina7601 replied to roytam1's topic in Browsers working on Older NT-Family OSes
@VistaLover Thanks for the link. Now I know what it is. Also, I made a mistake here. I thought I was running Serpent 55 (2023-07-15), but it turns out I redownloaded (2023-07-07) again and opened it instead. Therefore, that's why it didn't crash for me, so I spread misinformation Ok, so I had to go to https://o.rthost.win/basilisk/ to download Serpent 55 (2023-07-15) myself (since roytam didn't announce there's a new version here in this topic, and I download a new version every time it is announced here in this topic), I opened it, and can also confirm @DanR20's findings about Serpent 55. Sorry @DanR20 for the misinformation! Yes, I can confirm your words too. Here is a picture: -
My Browser Builds (Part 4)
mina7601 replied to roytam1's topic in Browsers working on Older NT-Family OSes
Well, Dan replied to this topic and said the following: Since I don't know what is formhistory, I didn't reply to the 2nd issue, so I only replied to the 1st issue (Serpent 55's startup crash). That's what I meant to shed some light on: the 1st issue. -
My Browser Builds (Part 4)
mina7601 replied to roytam1's topic in Browsers working on Older NT-Family OSes
I forgot to say, if that makes a difference, that my testing was inside a Windows XP 32-bit virtual machine, not on real hardware. But, for convenience, I also tested with a Windows 7 64-bit virtual machine, and I also didn't receive any crash there, which you mentioned above. Perhaps some users who run Windows 7 on real hardware (for example, @Mathwiz) would be kind enough to shed some light on this? -

Serpent 55 is starting up fine for me here. no crashes here or anything. This is also on a brand new profile. Am I missing something? Edit: This is misinformation, my mistake, since I used Serpent old version, which doesn't crash and incorrectly talked about it here, even though the reply was about the latest version. @Dave-H please delete my post, and also delete all posts relating to it in the next page. I am really very sorry for doing this, and I will be more careful in the future, and won't do this mistake again. I apologize for any inconvenience. -
No, there wasn't any misunderstanding, don't worry.
-
Ah, no hard feelings then.
-
I was talking about .NET Framework 4.0 itself, not the 2014 update rollup.
-
You probably downloaded the Japanese version, which is indeed small in size (6M). Download the English version (labeled "69.4M")
-
It exists at the WLU site. Go to Manual Update, then write net framework in Search Keyword, this is the 1 labeled "Microsoft .Net Framework 4.0 for Extended Kernel(v2)"

Hello, on my testing with downloading this file Chrome and Firefox, I didn't get that error message when downloading it on Chrome nor Firefox.
