  1. Heh, fair enough really, like I said it was just basically me being paranoid lol, but thanks for the replies that helps alot
  2. I will not give you the satisfaction of a reply to that
  3. I've heard nothing but bad things about those slimline PS2's, the first and possibly the most worrying from quite a few friends of mine is that it has been known to scratch discs. The second one, which is real, and worries me quite a bit is the fact theres no fan in there, not a good thought for hardcore gamers... As for PS2, and Xbox? Gamecube
  4. Hiya, it doesn't seem like theres any visible indications (or obvious ones lol) to tell what type of installer this programme uses, if anyone can help me out with this one and give the appropiate switches that would be a big help X Fire can be found at http://www.xfire.com/xf/modules.php?name=XFire&file=download
  5. Hehe, hows THAT for an introduction! Hiya everyone, Marc aka Lylo here, gotta say a big hello to everyone whos helped me out so far, its because of you buggers I'm now addicted to making these UA discs lol, and it's ALSO because of you, that I'm now out of CD-R's.... Oh well, I'm gonna leave that at that, and get back to wasting even more of my time which could so easily be spent doing college homework etc etc....
  6. Yes it already is like that lol, What I mean is though, is that when I actually use my disc, it formats the disk in a 'quick' format, what I'd like is for it to perform a 'full' format, ie: one that takes much longer than a minute or so to complete lol. It's not like I have any real reason to have a full format over a quickie, except that the reassurance that anything that might have been plagueing my system before WILL be gone after a full reformat of the drive. Call it paranoid if you will but that's just me, I'd rather take the time and make sure a job gets done rather then have it all over very quickly with no real reassurance.
  7. Using the guide on http://unattended.msfn.org/xp/reference.htm I managed to get my UA cd to reformat itself without any keystrokes by using the AutoPartition=1 command, however, when I came to use my disc, I noticed that it only made a quick NTFS format of my hard drive, is there any way I can make it so that this performs a full NTFS format. I suppose I'd just feel better off knowing that everything on my drive that was there before IS being wiped and totally cleaned instead of being unsure because of a quick format. Love, Lylo!
  8. Hiya everyone! Well, after a few weeks or so of mucking about with custom / unnatended XP Discs for the first time, last night I made my first fully unattended disc which installed a good load of crap, some proggies mentioned in the actual MSFN UA guide, some I came across searching these forums. Call this thread a waste of time if you want, but I just wanna say a big thanks to everyone on these forums who help out noobs like me and help in their own way to make the whole show even better and easier to cope with for everyone! I'll be sure to be keeping an eye on here looking out for more apps to add to my discs lol, so to everyone out there: Keep up the good work!
