  1. It must be an error with the way you installed the bts packs somehow. What steps are you taking to make your disk?
  2. Thanks for giving it a try. I hope you enjoy it.
  3. Did you use the latest integrator? The integrator should have gotten rid of the need for SP2.cab and took everything out of sp2.cab and put it inside of driver.cab. That is a very odd error if you used the latest integrator and the latest DPs. As for PowerPacker... it isn't possible for it to cause this issue. (As far as I know. ) My best bet would be the integrator... but there haven't been any recent reports of this problem. Check for any instances of sp2.cab in either dosnet.inf or txtsetup.sif. Delete any lines that contain them. I don't understand what happened... i was very careful to start with original cds of all XP versions SP2 and then used the new integrator to add update pack 2, media player 10 and full addons pack then used Powerpacker to make a tripack mutliboot CD Incidently, when i use the integrator i can make a multiboot powerpacker cd that is 90mb smalller than using nlite then powerpacker, and i make sure i remove lang and win9x upgrade folders...any idea why it would be smaller..? Not sure why. How about the LANG folder? Could it be possible the Lang folder was removed? But when you used NLite you did not remove the lang folder?

  5. Have you tried easyphp1-8_setup.exe /? Sometimes that will tell you what you can do.
  6. OH... Is he the one that they made that movie after?? You know the comedy about a guy who is in love with the red sox.
  7. Press Shift+F10 and you will get a cmd prompt. Now you can run all kinds of tools. Like sol.exe (Solitare). But sol.exe is not extracted to the hd for a while. But you can manually extract it off the cd and play it.
  8. Just wanted to let everyone know I have been very busy latley. I haven't had a chance to code anything new for WinXP PowPacker in a while. I do have plans to code as soon as I get some time. But there have been no major bug reports on the latest release. It seems to be working very well. I guess that's why this forum gets a lot of visits but not many new posts. I wish the people who used the program would post in here some more. At least give me some indication that you guys enjoy my app or not. It has had about 30,000 downloads at BetaNews in about 4 months or so... but not many replys in the forums. Is it because there aren't any bugs to report? Or are people just not interested in the program?
  9. Not sure I understand your question. But if you are asking how to create a Tri-Pack with only using the Mass Storage DP. Then all you have to do is follow the directions for the DPs. Leave only the Masstorage.7z in the driverpacks folder... and it will create a UWXPCD_ROOT folder that will only install the masstorage dp.
  10. LOL! Tried that too! Emailed them and got no reply back.
  11. OH ok. That sounds logical. I still haven't been able to get a copy of the mag. I tried to order it... but I was sent the october issue instead.
  12. I already changed the text in the cdshell.ini file so that instead of XP Pro it now says 2003 Server Standard or SBS, whichever it is. Doing more testing to see how it all works out, inc BTS packs... I was suprised how well the BTS packs worked in 2k3.
  13. Thanks! Anything you can do would be great. ATM I think XPero got the gui graphics covered. But if you could come up with some sort of banners etc... for people to put in their signatures and/or websites that would be great.
  14. It will do everything except place the entry in the menu. cdshell.ini I basically just added the feature to xp powerpacker as a sneak peak at windows powerpacker. Windows PowerPacker will have many more options for each additional version.
  15. Yeah I noticed that. Is Direct Hit the highest rating?
  16. It allready has it. Check the Tips and Tricks thread.
  17. Looks like the online review is working now. I like the reviews it got! Direct Hit!
  18. I will make one for everyone.
  19. Basically what I do is in my $OEM$ folder it runs a batch file that tells it to look in a folder called "INSTALL" at the root of my disk. That is where I put all of my programs. That way I have a very small $OEM$ folder. All of the $OEM$ folders I use are the same... but they mainly just consist of the bat file cmdlines.txt and a few other files. The install folder can be copied to the root of the disk using the ExtraRootFiles option. That is an idea I will keep in mind. But once you have all of your winnt.sif files created you simply just have to select each different one. It may be just as hard to put the serial # in powerpacker as it would be to select a different winnt.sif file.
  20. That's up to nuhi.
  21. Cab file download now working.

    Pop ups

I would get Ad-Aware Personal edition and Microsoft Anti-Spyware. They are both free. Make sure you get the updates for both of them. Disconnect your computer from the internet and run a Full System scan with Microsoft Antispyware. Remove anything it finds. Reboot the computer and do the same thing again. If it does not detect anything... reconnect your internet and start browsing around for a bit. If you get no more popups you may have gotten it. But if the second scan detects anything run a scan with adaware and remove any critical things it finds. Always reboot then scan again. Do not reconnect your internet if something will not go away unless you know what is not being removed. If you have to do a google search on the Spyware that won't go away and there may be a special way to remove it. Sometimes the only thing you can do is reinstall the computer.
  23. Place this in your script to allow Environment variables to be used like you would in a batch file. Opt("ExpandEnvStrings", 1)
  24. Or you can Integrate this install directly into your XP disk by grabbing the HashTab Addon file at RyanVM's website and using the RyanVMIntegrator. Custom Addons RyanVMIntegrator
  25. For those of you who use the integrator here is the easiest solution: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=57769 Make sure you use Integrator v1.0 RC13 or higher.
