Nope I am talking about nt6.x api of ntdll that do NTFS transaction EDIT : NtCommitTransaction this is the api needed by WannaCry v 2.0 but WannaCry v 1.0 can infect even nt 4.0 so be aware .

2k/XP/2k3 it self is immune . WannaCry virus sub system ver of PE is 6.1 also it need NTFS transaction api to work which does not exists in any Nt 5.x system . The virus will not work so no screenshot of infected XP exists in web . <Offer against the rules removed> SMB 1 vulnerability fully cannot effect Nt 5.x donot believe me compare 7 and XP patch under IDA

Windows 10 ON THE BANK is fully patched along with creator update as per their it team . only fact is that virus will not spread through smb if patched but what about getting infected from a Linux server

Any one interest in back porting pascal and crimson driver to XP please show some support here I have plan to put AMD driver into vista even as my friend asked me . a bank near my home got infected with wanna crypt . they are unable to do any work . Situation is terrible . One of my neighbor who work their called me . I have tried many thing . any one has any solution ? Over internet i tried many help ful content but none is helpful . They are running windows 10 with latest updates . might not got wannacrypt update

Server 2003 Sp2 ATapi.sys is working on XP with disk.sys from server 2003 sp2 hotfix. I have no big size disk to check so fa.r . All 2TB HDD & 1TB I have to repair or take out 3TB one from skylake build . i have new mobo . I will fix the system soon do i need to have all ACPI files from server 2003 ?

It may require whole SMB back port from XP. XP uses different version SMB than 2k
