how exactly ami suppose to get vpn working in vista? http://www.helpdesk.ugent.be/vpn/en/vista.php this site says that i need to enable it but i have no clue what they are talking about. http://www.onecomputerguy.com/networking/v..._vpn_client.htm also if you look at that last pic, i never get a vpn connection in my network connections.. edit: got it working, disabling a bunch of services which added 100mb or ram usage fixed it
that does sound like the only thing left. i had problems like that when my hdd got corrupted for some reason... i would have to keep on restarting the comp and hopefully it would load up. so i had to completely erase my hdd and no problems since.
depends on the laptop. you should have an s-video out port on your laptop. so you will need an s-video cable for that. now my tv doesnt have an s-video in so i bought an s-video to rca adapter which allowed me to connect to my tv.
jeremy-i completely agree with everything that you said. thats why i even posted a link for the hdd u said on newegg. im talking about what gamehead said, it sounded like he said making partitions is all that he would have to do. but my advice is to have multiple hdds and partition each of those hdds.
well that way works for just setting aside your data but its not meant for backup by any means... if the hdd dies then wheres the backup? everyone should parition and if you have very important info that should definetly be backup up. by dad back up his data on a large zip disk, so thats another option..
well the first language you should learn is english... can you speak english fluently? your grammer in ur question is okay but not good. most of the world speaks english so thats what you should learn. otherwise learn spanish/italian, they are basically the same language. nitroshift, yes this is a tech forum but why does that mean we cant help people? he did post in the general forum..
85$ USD http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16822148140 Cytomax, if you really want to back things up then get another hard drive. the one above is an amazing one.
okay im sorry then. that first line just seemed directed at me in an insulting way, but george carlin is a perfect excuse for that. he's my favorite comedian, i got to see him last year
you dont have to insult me b/c i didnt know that half a million people die a day. that number is just amazing to me which is why i was shocked by how fast the counter was going.
better airflow, thats it. the speed isnt any faster as the actual speed of teh dvd drive cant evene excede the speed of ide. ide cables are just too awkward and ugly.
ya thats why i said " i just hope that the sata drives are good now." i know that there are problems and when i get my next comp, i hope that these problems are fixed.
just wondering, why exactly do you care? i used to care, thinking that it would make the page better, but it doesnt. its just extra coding that serves no real purpose. and its pain in the a** to get everything to validate correctly.
ill definetly have to go with a sata dvd drive for my next comp, whenever that is.. ide should really be taken out, its just a waste of space. both the ide cables and the ide slots+controllers. i just hope that the sata drives are good now.
