I'm using Windows 10 Build 9879 and this is how I got aero glass setup. The start menu is "classic shell" which I tried to make it look like Windows 10 start menu, for firefox I use a addon called "GlassMyFox", and have the taskbar blurred. I never have any trouble with BigMuscle's aero glass. Now if I could find a way to make windows explorer come up whole aero glass look

Windows Task Scheduler Not Running Tasks
daveo76 replied to KaddirB's topic in Aero Glass For Windows 8+
I never ever had problems with Aero Glass. Everytime I restart Aero Glass has always started up for me since BigMuscle's first release. But I keep that info handy just in case. Also do you run your account as administer- 90 replies

hibernation doesn't cause any wear and tear to SSD. I been told by a computer shop that SSD can do everything that a HDD can

No symbols are released for 9888 because it is a leaked build. Not official build. That why aero glass won't work on it properly. No symbols no aero glass. That why I'm sticking with 9879
-
What can't you find

SSD are excellent. I brought a 256GB SSD 2 weeks ago.

It works on Windows 10 Build 9879 except it causes my programs Internet download manager, AVG Internet Security 2015, CCleaner Pro, and VMware Workstation not to auto start. I have to manually start them. When I delete those 2 dll files and restart Windows all those programs start up itselfs. This was the same to when using UXTheme Multi-patcher
-
Can you do that for Windows 10 TP please
-
Uninstall it. Make sure no files are left behind. Then download the official aero glass. Then use Windows default theme
-
Thanks for that info. Now I know why it never looks good as your aero glass. I removed all the links I had to ace's guides.

I know BigMuscle isn't supporting Build 9888. I'm just letting people know how to get it working if there want it on 9888

When I install Aero 1.3.1 on Windows 10 Build 9888. I get that error message as seen on the screenshot but when I click Cancel the aero glass works. But it takes a while from startup for that message to appear
-
I tried aero glass v1.3.1 but it was saying the symbols are wrong for that version of Windows
-
I guess it wouldn't work due to the kernel being updated on that build

how do I make blur task bar. I tried Opaque Taskbar for Windows 8 and Windows 10 from WinAero but it looks bad as it adds white tint to it. Also BigMuscle perhaps you should make it a option to include blur taskbar for us people that don't want to use a 3rd party start menu.
-
That's what you've got there, though there's a slight change in opacity between active and inactive windows. If you want to tweak it, get an image editor and set it up precisely to your own liking. Beware, though, it has the ability to eat up whole days of time. -Noel For active window it adds white to it
-
For the taskbar click on white square and put the first 2 slide controls to the left. Then click save changes

Huh. I'm on 9841 but I just downloaded and installed it today, and I don't see any updates available. Is the UK language build behind US or something daft like that? EDIT: Never mind, I was being stupid. Getting new build now. Wow 9841 is first build then another build come out then 9879 come out almost a month ago
-
I want clear for active and inactive window. What you use for inactive Window. I like it for active Window as well.
-
Can you do it in clear colour. I like using clear and never like having any colour on the borders
-
Excellent work you done there NoelC on the theme atlas I love the looks of it
-
New version 1.3 works well on my Windows 10 TP Build 9879 except 2 things that don't work is 1) glass shiny atlas resource doesn't seem to be correct all jumbled up and 2) Start menu not transparency as it is in your screenshot. Also thanks for the update.

I wasn't around for his previous testing. That must been when windows 8 was still new and got me very lost when it come out. I didn't fully use it until 8.1 come out last year. I feel that I should be able to test it. Since I paid for 6 keys. There newer people then me in here that got a test version. Microsoft and other program makers allow there paid customers test there new preview stuff. I love testing new versions of my favorite OS and programs. I can understand what happened last time but I never had complained once about this
