I would argue that your hard work has consistently yielded an outstanding product, as well as a precious contribution to the community in general. I don't mean to suck up, but you're awesome! Sorry for the late reply, nitinvaid20. I believe you are correct. In fact, I think that BigMuscle's 'Aero Glass' software includes its own patch to enable custom themes - that is, unless he has removed it. It's important to note that the aforementioned patch integrated into Aero Glass may only enable custom themes through Aero Glass itself, and not separately of that. Either way, to be certain everything works fine, I have always chosen to install the latest version of UxTheme Patcher. But then again, I always prefer using 3rd party themes (the ones you have to place into C:\Windows\Resources\Themes). Hope this helped, good day.

I genuinely hope he is alright. His software is the reason I've been able to use Windows 8, 8.1 and 10 without being disgusted by the changes made to the user interface after Windows 7 (still the best one ever in my opinion). You're right - a lot of time has passed us without an update of any kind from the man himself. His absence only serves to underscore the stupid decision made which resulted in Windows Aero's codebase being shredded apart.

It's such a shame - his software has added a beautiful (arguably fundamental) touch to Windows 8, 8.1 and 10's fugly UI, and, the resource usage isn't very significant to boot. Where could he be? Why is he not responding? It would provide us with some peace of mind to receive verbal confirmation from him in that he has not abandoned the project. Hell, I would donate again if he would continue his work on it. Alas, it appears I'll have to resort to using Windowblinds again. ---------------------------- BM, in the event that you read this, I beg of you not to give up on this essential application. You've done a phenomenal job so far. Please continue to work on it at least for the remainder of this year. I'll gladly donate what I can if you do.
