No, RTM is not so biutifull as RP - glowed text on title bars, 3d effect on taskbar, for expample.

Can you give link to your ported theme? Please, or give link PM. Even better if anyone have RP theme with glow buttons, i really needs her!

Problem - in aero.msstyles from RP theme there are no STREAM 986 - button resources are found in 983 STREAM - and looks as another form. May be anyone have rp theme with glow buttons? O maybe can help to edit png file from rp theme? I affraid that png file from wich i need buttons isn't compatible with rp theme.

Please help me. I have two themes. One is RP theme i like it, but without glow effect on caption buttons. Onother from there - too much colorized theme, but nice caption buttons with glow effect. How to move only button resources from 2nd theme to 1st.

There are just simple zip archibe in wich theme file copy his into "C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Themes\", where "username" is your name of user. After that you may edit the theme file by text editor to change what you need. Theme is appears in the personalization menu.

This means that if i use custom file or msstyle file without UXStyle glow buttons will not work?

Just tried that and my theme doesn't have a "[Control Panel\Colors]" section, only Desktop and Cursors. I tried exporting that registry key and copying the values and it doesn't work. No matter what I change inside the theme file, no changes are made to the appearance after I switch to this theme.Could you please post the exact lines you have to change the window active/inactive title? I attach my theme file, so you can look what you need. I think it's may not contain this section if colors are match to theme.

Are you using startisback? If so, which version? Try to restart explorer process or while DWMGlass is enabled, disable SIB for current user, sign out then re-enable SIB from Control Panel. SiB 2.02. Yeah, strange, I don't know what is causing that problem, it could be DWMGlass or UXStyle... Rename the msstyle to 'aero' to fix it. This applies to all custom themes. I don't use UXStyle, just copy Aero RP theme into "resources\themes" folder. Theme file name "aerorp.theme", in folder "aerorp" style named aero.msstyles.

I found how to change color of font of active/inactive windows title bars. For this need save current applied theme and give him name in personalization menu. After that going to path C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Themes\, open our saved theme file in text editor and found string "[Control Panel\Colors]", below this string are different settings of colors. Change what we need, save and through personalization aplly our theme. This is registry keys from "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Colors" saved in theme files. But if we change they in registry manually it don't change anything.

How you achieve this taskbar? It's blured or just trasnparenced? If i disable transparency of taskbar in RP theme to make her blured (thanks to Bigmuscle for AG), his color became too intensive almost without transparency. Preferences in persolization don't make it less colored. if transparency is enabled, there is no blur (((. How to increase opacity of taskbar with blur effect enabled?

It may be done by theme or you manually change font in aaditional settings of the screen.

I expected more from MrGrim as I have seen his involvement on many Windows interface enhancements projects, like themes and start buttons. I think you have nothing to do there, leave us....

Again, again and again: there are no ready product here, all what you found here is only for triyng. That's why you are have popup's or another (believe me, it may have another problems because of not ready product, security, for example). Wait until program will be ended. P.S. About popup's: if you don't recieve popups every hour, you are don'nt use latest beta of this program - may be you use cracked/fixed version? It's not supported!

This looks good. The customer preview had also a bit different captions buttons: I'm also thinking of having some default theme for AeroGlass utility. Something like "default value for CustomThemeResource" so when user runs it for the first time, it will change Windows 8 theme to my default. But I guess we can't use any theme from any Win Beta/RC/RTM due to licensing reasons. I think it's a good idea about custom theme in AeroGlass Utility. I understand licensing reasons, but what about make another theme in the base of some Beta/RC/RTM. It's broke license rights?
