i don't use outlook express sousing sleek wouldn't be a problem,the problem i have is i need a 95 disk,i got 95b but from what i read it's best not to use that one,or just use the original or 95c(i used to have windows 95)

why doncha just upload the defrag coz it sounds like if you change it it may be a virus or somthing bad,until i see that is is what it's sposed to be i won't dl it

well it renamed it but it didn't allow me to place those files where they were sposed to and wouldn't boot or allow me to rename them back so i booted into xp,copied the new files where they were sposed to and here i am using those new files

so they r working on a 4.8 then?as far as i know with sleek you cannot delete anything from the start menu thats the reason i don't use it coz i need to keep the start menu cleaned and organized,the chubby has less web integration and is almost as good as sleek

that may be in 2.1 when this is done gape deserves a break for awhile

couldn't you do like what litepc does n add stuff to the add/remove and if you want it check it or if not uncheck it to remove it?also could you add the Windows 98 Critical Update Notification 4.0 as an optional component?

if memory serves beta 2 was around 12-15 MB this will be a bit bigger i imagine also i will test this and see what happens

that sure is alot of steps what are the advantages of adding this to 98 se?will it make it more stable?also could you do it and host it?

not many ppl play dos games now so those settings for dos r useless for those who don't use dos or play dos games

maybe gape could make a detetion for that large file delete fix,if a user applied ie updates then do not install it,if a user has no instaled any updates then install it

win me dislikes isa hardware maybe your laptop dislikes me i know mine would me not pushing mine as i've had it installed 2-3 yrs ago n only had it for 2-3 months(it's a 5 yr old model)costed me 400 bucks for it

win me is very picky on hardware that 98 is not,u can get me stable but a bit difficult,with win 98 it's not that hard also iwas kidding when i said get a new laptop,i got an old one that does for me till i get a new one(my current one will not like win me but will go as high as 98)

maybe add some tweaks from this site:http://myweb.accessus.net/~090/winmetip.html i know it says for windows me but some of these can be used on windows 98 se i applied some and they make windows 98 boot faster by not loading some stuff assuming you don't use them the drivespace &compression utilities

tarun posted a vmm32 file that i dled n put it where it was sposed to figuring it would help make windows 98 se faster,i run windows 98 se,windows xp+sp1&SP2,Windows 2000+SP3 then after i installed it it wanted msdos 8 then i reformatted so i deleted that file i dled
