This is insulting. And cheap is argument. I'm not aware of any software under $1000 which does implement multi-tier de/re-activating scheme. Implementing such scheme requires serious infrastructure which makes product pricier, support and using much more complex. I'm not mentioning that neither Start8 nor any other product in this category does not even disclose the activation / license model, let alone re-activation/de-activation. If you manage to burn 5 motherboards and HDDs, i'll reset your activation. There is no issue.

And if you backup activation data before deactivating, you have both old and new activations working.

Yes. No, it won't become the current otherwise that loophole will allow to activate unlimited number of computers. Resolving this would require constant activation internet checking or involving some difficult methods. You want too much for $1.

No. Activation stays until either MB UID or HDD serial stays (and detected). Not planning this for Personal Edition. Whenever. That's the problem with security of Orbs folder for all users install, will be fixed. If you copy files there manually, it will see only bmp files.

Small but important announcement I'm changing activation system for v1.0final so both motherboard UID and HDD serial number are taken into account. Replacing hard drive OR motherboard won't require reactivation and won't count as new computer. I hope this solution will suit better. Activation service will be taken offline several hours before v1.0 release which should happen in several days. Existing beta/RC activations will not require reactivation with v1.0 final.

No need. I have translator and RTL languages won't be supported for v1.0.

Maybe you did use beta key? Version notify is completely unobtrusive.

Of course it's by design. If you have only modern apps there, you can't pin desktop ones. Go to Taskbar Properties - Jump lists and uncheck 'store and display recently opened items in Jump lists'

Yes. But he says taskbar didn't switch between tasks, which is weird and if it reproduceable, then it's a bug.

Thanks. Although i don't need second to be reproduced, it's fixed already next version. Ask MrGRIM. Windows 7 msstyles can't be used directly, they have to be converted, and uxstyle needs to be used.
