mara-, tell me more about this phantom bug: - Is it in 1.1 or 1.0 too? - Does pressing Win key trigger new Start screen only or Start menu too? - Did you install all available Windows updates? - Are you sure your Ctrl key is not stuck? Try disabling start screen keyboard shortcut.

Yeah, i can reproduce autounhide not working on start orb and will have it fixed.Displacing orb is an issue specific to geneticplasma system. Sounds like easily reproduce-able bug but nobody did found it, so he should try to help us by finding the culprit which steals orbs.

Yes, a bit later. Uninstall and reinstall StartIsBack for current user or delete HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\StartIsBack\License key. If you change both HDD and MB, new activation will count as new PC. There is no automatic deactivation. If you have any probems, i'll help you resolve them. Good to know! Not sure. I'll try to make a guide.

All VMWare / Hyper-V activations should generally count as one. I can't guarantee it, though. You can freeze time, duplicate bios uuid or just change user / reinstall every 30 days. I'm not sure how fair this is. If you want this issue resolved, contact me. I'll set up a web service which would allow you to check your license keys and how much activations are used on them in a few days.

It should still work because it would be tied to usb stick serial number. I've gifted you a key to test it.

If deactivation would be automated, one could just create a fake activator which would activate and instantly deactivate license. Boom headshot!Activation talk is over. This is insulting. And cheap is argument. I'm not aware of any software under $1000 which does implement multi-tier de/re-activating scheme. Implementing such scheme requires serious infrastructure which makes product pricier, support and using much more complex. I'm not mentioning that neither Start8 nor any other product in this category does not even disclose the activation / license model, let alone re-activation/de-activation. If you manage to burn 5 motherboards and HDDs, i'll reset your activation. There is no issue.
