You need to delete duplicate shortcuts from %appdata%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\user pinned\StartMenu folder. -

Yes, this is a known issue with 1.1.5.1, if you enter into subfolder of hidden folder, it may be shown again in This PC.

99,9% problems are resolved with uninstalling StartIsBack with checkbox 'Remove settings and license data' and reinstalling. If it does not help, write to support e-mail. http://startisback.com/#support-tab -

Try uninstalling with checkbox 'Remove settings with license data', then actvating new version. If that doesn't help, write to support e-mail.

This happens if you have UAC off and install SIB per-user. Fix either.

Yes, StartIsBack+ no longer works on new Windows 10 builds. Fixing that gonna take a while, but I hope I will get decent result and direction for StartIsBack on Win10. If you experience a glitch with setting search on 1.7.5, please do: - Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\StartIsBack create DWORD "Start_SearchPCSettings" = 0

SYMPTOMS Windows 8.1 does not fully boot after restarting your PC. CAUSE Old StartIsBack+ versions are not compatible with new Windows Updates. Specifically, this may happen with versions 1.5.2 and below. RESOLUTION Press Ctrl+Alt+Del (or Win+Power on tablet). Select Task Manager, File – Run new task. Type StartIsBackCfg.exe /uninstall and click OK. On a tablet, you may need to locate osk.exe in \Windows\System32 folder and run it to be able to type on the screen. As alternative, you may run iexplore.exe (or firefox.exe, chrome.exe or your other favorite browser), go to www.startisback.com, download and install newer version. BOTTOM LINE I'm very sorry for the troubles if caused. Please make sure you're running latest StartIsBack+ version and are installing updates if you're using automatic Windows Update system. This problem should not rise again. Like
