I dont like to use many apps to customize me computer, just avedesk and cd art display. But thanks for the comment anyways. I was talking about those foldericons, it's AVEdesk, I guess? The "garbage", "computer", "documents"...

First check if those files are on the cd or not. If they are, try 'modifype' them and check if the error still occurs.

I guess the autorun.exe has nothing to do with the process of booting. It could be executed when inserting the dvd into an installed OS. For booting it makes no difference if there is an autorun.exe or not.

A bit more information would help. If you put it on your unattended CD I guess you compressed your file. Have you used 'modifype' afterwards? Any errors during installation?

In your directory containing the .msstyles there needs to be a folder called 'shell'. If your theme uses different colorstyles, then you need a dir called 'NormalColor' or whatever your colorstyle is called. Put your shellstyle.dll inside. With no colorstyles I guess the DLL belongs to the 'shell'-dir...

Are you sure it is a DOS driver, the .SYS you are talking about? Otherwise it won't work anyways...

As far as I understand it, he wants to use something like Autoplay Menustudio. In the final autorun menu there should be a button saying 'create ISO'. After pressing it, cdimage would be executed in a shell, doing its job and closes itself afterwards, without further user interaction. Therefor the commandline tool is more appropiate than a GUI.

The bootsector file should be in the root, therefor \WXPPC.bin. Where is the bootsector located on your DVD? Do you have such a file? You need one bootsectorfile for each OS you want to create an ISO of.

As cdimage is in your DVDroot, you could use it without driveletter. Maybe you have to check, if the WXPPC.bin is in the root aswell, otherwise adjust the path to it. \cdimage.exe -lWXPPC_EN -t08/23/2001,09:00:00 -b\WXPPC.bin -h -n -o -m \ROOT\XPPC C:\WXPPC_EN.iso You should have enough space at C:\ to create the ISO, ofcourse...

I guess you mean the standard windows taskbar, just at top instead of bottom...

I actually took the original shellstyle from the Luna-VS from WinXP and replaced the graphics, colors and stuff with graphics matching the areao4 VS.
