If you've got any doubts about your patched uxtheme.dll, then you could try this one, I've just patched and see if it helps!

This is my patched UXTHEME.DLL from XP SP3 EN Final, (6.0.2900.5512). The archive contains both the patched file for direct replacement and a compressed version for CD integration. Hope they help. UXTHEME_6.0.2900.zip

Well you really need to look at your file structure. For the RunOnceEx you have provided, you need the following file structure: | \---XPCD | +---$OEM$ | | cmdlines.txt | | RunOnceEx.cmd | | | +---$1 | | | +---Apps | | CleanUp.cmd | | DiskeeperPro_8.0.459.exe | | DotNETFw.exe | | IsoBuster1.5.exe | | WinRAR320.exe | | | \---Alcohol | Register.reg | Setup.exe | \---I386 I hope this makes sense to you.

Change the REG_DWORD Value to 211, then check in Control Panel => Internet Options => Security => Local Intranet => Sites, it should hopefully look like this! See if that helps you!

It appears I had entered the incorrect flags value, now updated.

VB2008 Not Reading INI's
Yzöwl replied to Bullseye's topic in Programming (C++, Delphi, VB/VBS, CMD/batch, etc.)
VB6 longs are now .NET integers (a long in .net is 64 bits not 32 bits as in vb6) Take a look here and see if that helps you. -
You could try this: TryThis.cmd @Echo off&Setlocal enableextensions Set "_K=HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings" REG ADD "%_K%\ZoneMap" /v AutoDetect /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f>Nul REG ADD "%_K%\Zones\1" /v Flags /t REG_DWORD /d 219 /f>NulSince I cannot be sure that the flags setting is universal you'll have to try it and see for yourself.

This thread is now contains a heavily edited accumulation of responses from three different threads which were started without searching all on the same subject. The first three posts are from the original thread and for the most part contain the answer the other three topics were after. Unfortunately due to the majority of the respondents not using the Forum in an appropriate manner the flow of the thread is completely ruined, but the problem(s) and solutions are there and easier to find than reading through four different topics.

Can't make .reg run during XP Unattended setup
Yzöwl replied to makieks's topic in Unattended Windows 2000/XP/2003
cmdlines.txt [COMMANDS] "REGEDIT.EXE /S hkcu.reg"For this fixed line to work, hkcu.reg must be in the same folder as cmdlines.txt! nlite.cmd - For this to work, HKLM.REG must be in the root of your CD-ROM drive and there must have been a previous procedure implemented by you in order to create the %CDROM% variable! I'd strongly suggest that you do some more reading. -
Not sure why this is happening...
Yzöwl replied to RavenDizzle's topic in Unattended Windows 2000/XP/2003
Could you please give me the name of the OEM so that I can ask them, research or take a look at their disk. Since IE7 and WMP11 are not integral with SP2, I'd be interested to find out exactly their method of integrating them into the installation! -
If you are not allowed to use nLite and you cannot be bothered reading the HFSLIP help and forum then running its batch file then you have only one option. You can read the unattended guide, (link at the top of the page); then spend a few weeks reading through the hundreds of posts in our forums which cover this specific subject.

Default User - 'Nation'='242' Registry tweak confusion
Yzöwl replied to dchambers's topic in Unattended Windows 2000/XP/2003
I know about the setting etc.; the point I am trying to make is that I see no reason to set it. I have never seen anything which uses this setting and as such have never had the need to include it as part of my setups. Is the nation asked for in an attended setup? If as I believe not, it serves no useful purpose for general use. I would suggest if you really do want to set this that using a Windows NT Command Script to load the Default Users hive and setting it through that may be your best bet! UserNation.cmd @Echo off&Setlocal Set "KEY=HKU\Default" Pushd %AllUsersProfile%\.. Reg load %KEY% "Default User\NTUSER.DAT">Nul Reg add "%KEY%\Control Panel\International\Geo" /v Nation /d "242" /f>Nul Reg unload %KEY%>Nul Endlocal&Goto :Eof -
This has got to be one of the worst pieces of advice I've seen here for a while!Whilst you may be correct in your guess about the cause of the problem, did you consider that the questioner may be a user on a system which has been deliberately locked down by an Administrator; thus denying them access to specific file/folder options and the group policy editor! Assuming you are correct about malware, why would installing only that specific piece of software be able to solve it? There are hundreds of tools, many of which are free and others which require no installation which could possibly remove a malware/infection of this type. If puli39 wishes to receive more specific advice for their problem I'd suggest that they provide more specific information with regards their system, setup and user status!

Default User - 'Nation'='242' Registry tweak confusion
Yzöwl replied to dchambers's topic in Unattended Windows 2000/XP/2003
To set those things I use my unattended file, winnt.sif, using the following: [RegionalSettings] LanguageGroup=1 SystemLocale=00000809 UserLocale=00000809 InputLocale=0809:00000809 [Unattended] KeyboardLayout="United Kingdom" My registry keys still remain as 244, which as you must know is US as opposed to UK, but so far I've never seen any probelms in doing so. What am I missing out on? -
Unattend XP Pro Cd, A-@-Z help needed
Yzöwl replied to Cclem's topic in Unattended Windows 2000/XP/2003
The only way you're likely to get this information is by using both the search facilities, locally and globally, and reading. I am not going to allow a thread which does all this work for you, we have an Unattended Guide along with specialist tools and a wealth of information already here which you casn use to aid you in achieving your goal.
