  2. Its strange I would have thought Winxp SP3 slipstreamed with the nLite latest IE7 cab integration wouldn't still have anymore updates from the ms update site ..but on first boot passing WGA check and then checking to see if there are any updates.. its telling me that IE7 has an update Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorere 7 for Windows XP (KB947864) Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 7 for Windows XP (KB947864) Date last published: 4/29/2008 Download size: 8.4 MB Security issues have been identified that could allow an attacker to compromise a system running Internet Explorer and gain control over it. Get help and support http://support.microsoft.com More information http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=110557 weirdest thing is that if I try install this update, it won't install it.. also tried download the closest match the the following download page http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/...n/ms08-024.mspx - the Windows XP Service Pack 2 and Windows XP Service Pack 3 and that doesn't install..pretty sure its the same file the autoupdate was trying to install aswel any solutions?
  3. ok this might not have anything to do with the latest uxtheme patch, but on a vm install of xp sp3 with the uxtheme patche when it booted up the default Luna theme didn't have the wallpaper applied.. also my own msstyle theme which I've copied into the theme dir.. when applying it, the style changes but the wallpaper part doesn't... vey strange.. I hadn't noticed thisbefore.. and even checking on my own xp sp2 system.. applying different styles isn't applying the default wallpaper it normally would.. unless i manually set the wallpaper to apply via the wallpaper section well any possible solutions I could look into would be good.. not too bothered about the current system not applying wallpapers..but def. want to fix the issue with my Unattended Winxp SP3 cd
  4. just installed winxp sp3 on a vm install.. and noticed the default theme and the wallpaper wasn't set either.. and this is sp3 5512 also try doing a custom visual style and editting the msstyles and even when applying the theme it doesn't apply the wallpaper.. ??!? any solutions?
