  1. I got 4,1 which I dont really understand, I would believe my CPU is pretty fast but guess not Processor Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 2.80GHz 4,1 Memory (RAM) 1,00 GB 4,5 Graphics RADEON 9800 PRO 5,6 Gaming graphics 191 MB Total available graphics memory 4,5 Primary hard disk 40GB Free (76GB Total) 5,2
  2. Did that, and the only message I can see is that I have a keyboard and a mouse attached, and that no problems are found That sounds like something I should try, I cant find anywhere to change that in my settings though, but I will try taking another look! It must be possible to do it on my Radeon 9800 PRO right?
  3. Thanks for the suggestion, but the mouse is not cordless, and sure the CPU is fine for this game, along with my graphics card. It happends in all games I play in direct3d I think
  4. Hey guys. When I enter a game, be it BF2, Ghost Recon, Swat4, Hitman BM or whatever, my mouse starts lagging. But only inside the game. If I minimize the game my mouse runs smoothly in windows. I've have tried changing most things, uninstalled intellipoint drivers (it's an intelli explorer 4.0), changing the sens settings, disable all programs running in the background and so. Nothing helps. I have a 2.8 Ghz p4 ht, with 1gb of ram and as I mentioned I'm using a Microsoft Intelli Explorer 4.0 I have always had this problem, but I never been playing much since recently, so now it's more annoying than ever! Hope for some good suggestions, thanks in advance! Edit: Oh btw. someone fixed it for me once, a year ago or so at a computer gathering, but after I formatted the fix is lost :/
  5. Yep, the cd was same service pack and so on, Corp with SP2 integrated, same one as I used for install. Anyway, I reinstalled completely now, but thanks for the information about safe mode. Will probably come in handy at some other time
  6. heh, How am I supposed to boot it up in safemode? I mean I'm half-way through the repair proces, the installation has deleted critical systemfiles and is failing to install them again. That is the problem so it's not possible to boot it up in any mode.
  7. My brothers computer suddenly did'nt want to boot. It just stayed at the bootup screen with the "progress bar" active. It could only bootup in Safemode. So i thought a windows repair would fix the problem, since it usually fixes all boot related problems for me. But when It came to the part of the "installation" where it says in the left side "Installing Windows" it completely stalls with 34 minutes left. I've tried booting it a vast number of times now, and always stalls at 34 minutes. Do you guys have any ideas as for what is causing this? The disc I'm using is flawless, and the computer worked perfectly untill yesterday. Thanks in advance. Title Edited - Please follow new posting rules from now on. --Zxian
  8. On my router/ftp/web I use win2003 and on my PC Windows XP Professional
  9. The outlook feels very promising indeed! I'm sure the new office combined with Vista, will be a major success! However, taking the price to consideration, Open Office is still the best choice if you dont have free acces to ms office from work or so.
  10. Yeah, I have the same problem. Anyway, the general impression seems nice, cool filesharing feature (when it will be useable), however I had a few problems with messages not being delivered, but it's not like it's a major problem. I would wish there was a like a "Resend" button though. Cheers
  11. oke, the spyware is all cleaned now, and the system runs MUCH better.. But the original problem still persist, nothing I do seem to correct the low voltage output. Even if I change it to 2.90v in the BIOS, it still stays at 2.18 - 2.20 (yes it's unstable!!) What do I do :x
  12. well, it's always making this sound while working, but now it's doing it constantly, like a heartbeat. Maybe the vdimm is causing the system to do so, I dont know
  13. I should better add this too; When booted up into normal mode, the harddrive or whatever makes these constant "working noises" like, "krr krr krr krrr krrr krr krr" (hope you get the point of that, heh)
  14. yea, there are options in the BIOS, but changing it does not have any affect on the actual voltage I read on the "Magic Healt" bar, and in PC HEALT STATUS. Also I should probably say; The pc runs "smooth" in safe mode
  15. Hey guys I'm trying to repair a computer for a friend of the family, but I have some tricky problems doing it. When the computer is booted up it runs very slow, like extremely slow, and is filled with spyware virus etc. But I dont think that's the worst problem. When booting up the system, (Epox RDA+ Athlon) it displays a "Magic Health" bar where one can see the different voltages etc. Vdimm is also shown there, but it's shown in RED. I cant find anything helpfull on google, epox homepage etc, so now I hope some of you guys, once again, can help me! I'm sure that if I fix this vdimm thingie I will be able to cleanup the system, but it's impossible to do it now, it's just to **** slow. I tried switching around the BIOS settings regarding the vdimm, but there is no change, it still displays in red under boot, and with the same voltage (2.2v). I also tried resetting the BIOS, basically, I tried everything I can imagine being wrong. Hoping for some help
  16. Files> Import export. Via this menu you'll be able to import your old messages if you saved them on the harddrive.
  17. Hey guys. I just installed my "old" game, Le Mans 24 Hours. But when I try running the game, it comes up with this error : I have DirectX 9.0b installed. I tried visiting Infogrames website, but they joined with Atari, so no info available on the title there.
  18. heh, looks weird Try uninstalling the plugins/skins or even the whole program, and see if it get's fixed. However I assume you already tried this
  19. sounds very weird. But my best shots goes here: Exclude your Adobe dir from the virus scan (does'nt solve the problem) Check Adobe.com for updates to your program if you did'nt already.
  20. hmm.. missing Starcraft on the list?!
  21. I think it could be some error with your windows installer. Try updating winxp and then install again. Hope this helps.
  22. If you can't find out what application that's using the file, I'm afraid you will need to delete it from DOS mode.
  23. Welcome, hope your skills can contribute to the forum.
