  9. i tested it on my current xp,and it worked(so i hope it will work on UA installation also).mp3,wav files in other accounts also associated with winamp. thanks man.iam fully satisfied with this winamp msi. thanks once again.
  10. when i google for GmailFS,i found it only for linux.is there any windows version that works on xp?
  11. or else u can convert that batch file in to exe file. already a topic is running for converting cmd-exe.just google for it.
  12. sorry for disturbing u.but posting whole setup (with all extensions, themes, plugins etc) is little heavy job.so if we can backup only our settings ie general settings, bookmarks, userstyles, extensions, cache etc in a single file,i think it would be great. so i use mozbackup for that.i create backup weekly once.and if some thing goes wrong with my firefox,i use this tool to get my whole settings back. this is free and simple.download it from http://mozbackup.jasnapaka.com/ after backup we can share that file.
  13. @maniaq thanks man.nice setup. but the problem iam facing is file association.it is associating files only for current account(in whcih we installed it).and i want winamp desktop icon for all users. how to do this? bmn
  14. not sure.but if u use same file as it is,u may get file version error or check sum problem.so u can try importing the resourses from that xp sp2 winntbbu.dll.and replace it with windows 2003 file.
  15. ok.i found the solution.actually we have to use another regtweak with the below one. ie now download below regfile and apply both of them through cmdlines.txt. it worked like charm for all useraccounts created after unattended installation. visual.reg
  16. waiting for replies
  17. i dono this, but is it possible to run shortcut keys using command prompt.bcz combination of windowskey+M will show u the desktop.is it possible with cmd?

  19. is it really possible.bcz someone said that its impossible to get recovery console for unattended cd.
  20. is my inf format is correct. i think iam doing some thing wrong at the format conversion.imean 0x00010001 or 0x00000001 etc.
  21. firstly thanks prathapml for ur reply. yes.iam using cmdlines.txt my other regtweaks r applied through this cmdlines.even that ListviewShadow=1 key is also working but only for the account to whcih autologin is enabled(using oobinfo) for installing appz(wpi). but when i create another account(manually through control pannel) that regkey failed. **what abt ths HIVEDEF.INF can i use this for regkeys.
  22. hi actaully i was searching for a method for adding regtweaks for all useraccounts. EX:- visual settings [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced] "ListviewWatermark"=dword:00000000 "ListviewShadow"=dword:00000001 "ListviewAlphaSelect"=dword:00000000 i tried cmd lines.txt,runonceEX.cmd but non of them worked.(these r working only for current account.when i create another account, iam not able to get those settings).during search i found this method.ie HIVEDEF.INF so i converted above regfiles to inf format. but it also failed.so what iam doing wrong? help me pls thanks
  23. ok here what i did to apply regtweak(for shadows) for every new account we create after unattended installation. i created one regfile(setstartup.reg) and applied it through cmdlines.txt setstartup.reg and placed 2 files (visual.cmd,visual.reg) in my $OEM$\$$\system32 folder visual.cmd visual.reg so when ever i create a new accout.visual.cmd is running (one time) thus applying visual.reg to the registry. this worked like charm .but procedure is lengthy.so is there any other way to apply regtweak when ever a new account is created. bmn
