  1. I think it might be OGACheckControl.dll (office genuine advantage), but probably some other dll's also.

  3. Excelent, thank you How do I make it a solid progress bar and not chunked? [sOLVED] (google was eventually my friend and led me here)
  4. I would like to change the XP progress bar from original green to blue in my custom Royale (blue) theme. How is this done?
  5. Thank you, that is exactly what I am looking for Tried to add the following in my .theme, but it did not change the registry value. [Control Panel\Desktop] UserPreferencesMask=hex:9e,3e,07,80
  6. @Shoshoni: I don't see how this covers my topic, read my question again please.
  7. "After customizing and applying a desktop theme, you may notice that the menu bar in various applications is surrounded by white space, as shown in the picture below. This happens due to an incorrect UserPreferencesMask registry value." For some reason when applying the custom theme the registry value UserPreferencesMask"=hex:9e,3e,07,80" @ [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop] changes to UserPreferencesMask"=hex:9e,3e,05,80", causing the problem. The problem can be resolved by changing the registry value back manually or with a .reg file, however can this registry change somehow be added/prevented to/from within the .theme file itself (so I will not have to run a .reg file every time I change themes)?
  8. I believe you can install both normally using their silent switches. It will skip wga during install although ask to validate at first run. At least this is what happens with WMP11 and presumably also in IE7?
  9. I'd really like for my method to work, as the only thing left is to have the sound scheme selected as current. can it be done through reg/batch?
  10. Maybe I jumped to conclusions here. I didnt find the file Abcpy.ini when extracting the cs3 installer. And no .msi installer.
  11. I would like to apply during setup my custom Windows Vista like sound scheme. Using the below .reg file the scheme is created although it is not set to the current scheme. I have to go to control panel >> sounds etc. and manually choose "Windows Vista" from the drop-down of sound schemes. I have tried to apply the .reg file from both cmdlines.txt and cleanup cmd. 12. What this reg key changes in IE7 is the menu text "Windows Update" under Tools in the old style "Menu line" (File Edit View etc...), but it will not change at the new button style Tools menu. Thats what I thought you were looking for (change menu text). What do you mean by button style tool menu? Sorry I were unclear. This is a screenshot from the Norwegian IE7, but I think you will see my point
  13. How does one correctly install and activate UPnP silently? (as when installed through add/remove windows components)
  14. Anyone found a way to install the Adobe Photoshop CS3 beta silently?
  15. What this reg key changes in IE7 is the menu text "Windows Update" under Tools in the old style "Menu line" (File Edit View etc...), but it will not change at the new button style Tools menu.
  16. I'm picking up this issue again hoping for a solution. The error Im getting when clicking "show icons for UPnP devices..." disappears and all works if I do the following. Control Panel >> Add remove programs >> Add remove Windows Components >> Network >> UPnP (uncheck/uninstall) Then Control Panel >> Add remove programs >> Add remove Windows Components >> Network >> UPnP (check/install) Why does this happen? Can I resolve it during UA?

    IE7 slow.

IE 7 seems slow loading web pages compared to IE6. Is this normal?
  19. In IE6 i used the following .reg file to change the menu text "Windows Update" to "Microsoft Update". Can this be done in IE7? Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer] "Windows Update Menu Text"="Microsoft Update"
  20. I have a folder with several KB* hotfix updates that I would like to /integrate to my i386 source. Doing this manually per file on about 40 updates will take a while. Can someone help me make a batch that /integrate one by one hotfix (from current dir to source dir e:\WinDVD\i386)?
  21. Please excuse me for not beeing active anymore as my current job situation does not allow any more time for this project. I'm sad to announce I will no longer have time to keep this list up to date in the near future, but please feel free to continue this project. The list may not be up-to-date, but still very complex and good to use Thank you for all of your support, and all is well Wish you all a happy 2007!
