  1. Also please in next version do not cab .ini files. How much space we will gain by packing them.Compressing those files, make harder to edit it.Keep up the good work
  2. I have same SYSOC.IN_ bug after slip stream I have unpacked it and it is just empty.I am not using nlite.I have xp sp2 Turkish Edition and have SYSOC.IN_ in original I386 directory. ps:If some one show me sample SYSOC.INI file, I will appreciate.Thanks.
  3. I have updated the program. Please check first post for download details.I have tested at XP and it worked very well bookmarks.html doesnt have problem.
  4. I really dont know the reason I have tested several times and it did worked for me.I will upload new version which will copy components folder too in couple of days.I can look for your problem with that build.
  5. Open your setup with WinRAR.Click the SFX button and then click Advanced SFX options.Go to Text and Icon tab and there is your comment.
  6. Adblock extension is problematic.Search the board and you will find one nightly build which doesnt have this bug.
  7. @Swimming_Bird It should unpack because created new setup file is also 7zip SFX itself. @Nois3: In every install it creates new profile.I didnt changed setup file.I added little file which install your extensions, themes, profile and pass job to the installer.
  8. Thanks guys your compliments keep me going and tells that my time wasnt wasted. Best Regards.
  9. AFAIK Pdf softwares includes cryprograpy code(RC4) so maybe one of them is supporting encryption.Just a wild guess
  10. You have to use *original* setup files of extensions and themes. For extensions, Go to firefox extension site(Tools/Extension Get More Extensions) downlaod your extensions but do not install it you can download it by save as option.Put .xpi file to your project\extensions directory. Theme stuff is same. You cant grab xpi and jar files from your current firefox once they are installed they got deleted.
  11. if you type about:config at adress bar you can see how big it is http://kb.mozillazine.org/Firefox_:_FAQs_:...:config_Entries
  12. @Swimming_Bird: I want word peace prefs.js compiler is really out of scope. You can make your prefs.js with firefox. @viriiman 1) To be able to set firefox as the default browser automatically There is a prefs.js option so firefox will ask you to set default browser on first run.Because many of us dont set firefox as default browser 2) a slightly clearer guide packaged w/ sof on where you need to put plugins, themes, etc. Ok. 3-4) Quicktime and Real alternative, flash support (if possible. If not, understandable) I guess you are missing the point, any file in your plugins directory(Quicktime, realtime, flash etc) will be copied after you install it.So, whatever you setup on your current firefox installation it will be copied to your silet firefox setup.
  13. I will add components directory as well. However before doing updates I want to hear what you want more.It isnt good to upload new files after each feature request because my connection isnt so good. Currently planning --------------------- * Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\components folder * mimeTypes.rdf (what to do with each file ie. download execute etc)
  14. It doesnt copy extensions or themes from your original installation as said in readme. You have to put original themes and extensions to corresponding drectories. So, you have to download theme and extension files again but do not install it.Just put Theme files(.jar) to your themes directory and Extension files(.xpi) to extensions directory.Hope you got it now.
  15. Found another bug If you choose original firefox setup from other directory than sof.exe resides, it gives error.Hope it is fixed now.Download links also fixed on the first post.
  16. OK.I will install thunderbird and try it tomorrow.Hope it works.
  17. I really didnt used thunderbird before and dont know whereit keeps its settings how to install themes, extensions so if you provide this details and I can try to help but my time is limited no rush ok
  18. First I have to find slogan for it
  19. @Swimming_Bird: firefoxsilent.exe is produced where you run sof.exe.I didnt put error checking when creating files if your problems continue PM and I will send you debug version. Also I have tested this program only on Windows XP SP2 no other windows version is granted to work Edit:Yes there was a bug.I wasnt clearing the buffer when executing 7za process.I corrected and fixed first post. Please download it again.
  20. Silence of the foxes© LaptoniC ---------------------------- Hi,as I promised I have coded this little utility in my spare time. It's a little utility which will unpack your original firefox setup add your extensions, themes, profiles etc and pack it again.Final file will be silent package. I spent much more time on photoshop than on code, it may contain bugs so easy on me.As you may see from the graphics, I suck at photoshop .Anyway, hope it works for you. Before doing anything be sure to read readme file carefully. Best Regards LaptoniC 26.01.2006 SOF is updated to support ThunderBird and possibly other mozilla based support. For more information please visit http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=66130 04.12.2005 Updated Install.exe to compatible with Firefox 1.5. 21. I said I wont comment on this subject but you are forcing me to do. Your batch file didnt worked for me simonsays, "didnt" and as you remember in my last PM I said this and you didnt replied back so that means it doesnt work for me the way it is. What a logic and maturity or I am understanding english badly, Maybe Who said I am writing batch file Einstein? Maybe your cultural background implied this to you.Did I said anything about your batch code, how "sucks" your batch code or did I said every1 (except u) can write a code that can use long pathnames in batch ?I coded random algo just the same as firefox do(except numbers because of enumaration)I know how to read source codes of mozilla dont you know? to bad so sad You say this and still continue this issue.I am puzzled I tried to stop it but you do not stop. You are continuing this in front of every audience what can be the reason of it? @sleepnmojo I understand your concern about code using and not mentioning names. However for the third time I say "I DID WRITE HIS NAME IN THE FIRST POST".His name is there. I did random code just to be sure with firefox code I am programmer myself and I have learned from my experinces that all hardcoded paths in the end gives you trouble. It may not for the firefox, but it is my habit to do in documented way. %SYSTEMDRIVE%\Install\Firefox\Setup\ It isnt silly mistake but yours is.I made a self extracting RAR file and it opens to %SYSTEMDRIVE%\Install\Firefox\Setup\..etc .I said that you can extract to anywhere "your original setup files" so you can work and make a sfx of it which will point to above path.I didnt wrote all of them because I thought it is clear.Sorry for that. I apoligize eveyone for the trouble but please do not insult anyone in your posts or do word games.
  22. No one see my intention let me clarify again. In my first post read it carefully there is a credit to simonsays. As you see from this post there is no edit.So it was there and will be there.Second u say that "rip word by word" but if you *read* my post you will see that I clearly state that I use some codes from your cmd file. And it is not rip word by word What you want to add more ?In your first very positive ROFL post you tried to make me some kind of thief.Yeah yeah bash the new kid on the block. I added new batch code and now you are saying that red codes are belong to you.Are you serious man? @echo off ;you found those one cmdow @ /HID ;and that ? How can I run firefox setup.I am puzzled "%SYSTEMDRIVE%\Install\Firefox\setup.exe" -ms Look at the command parameters.I am copying to random directory that I created in my batch file.I guess you didnt read it XCOPY /Y /E /Q /H /R "%SYSTEMDRIVE%\Install\Firefox\Setup\Profile" "%APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\%mypath%.default" I wont comment on other red ones.xcopy copies files/folders I dont know any other commands man Yes it is true that I PM'ed you about firefox and if you remember I said that your methods didnt worked for me and I said that will do my own.Do you remember that one also? You act like a child whose candy is taken.I guess you are so touchy about firefox.Take it man.I wont comment anymore on this thread. If you have still problems you can PM me.I will add one post at later about automatic setup file which extracts original setup adds extensions themes and packs it again but currently I am coding it and no red codes will be harmed on this one
  23. If you copy all files from default directory ofcourse you will have all extension themes etc. However this profile has hardcoded paths in it if you try to install firefox on some computers whose windows directory is other than you configured it wont work.
