  1. Hi, does anybody knows a patcher or similar for customize XP or 2003 with KDE 4? I only know Doomangel's KDE 4 Se7en Patcher, but it is only for Seven. But I also need it for NT 5.1 and 5.2. Thanks a lot.
  2. This is a problem based on Windows NT 6, because they have bigger restrictions about raw disk access. The only solution would be a driver like www.eldos.com but this has to be implemented by the distributor of the application (the driver isn't for the end-user) ...
  3. A little question: When will there be a Server 2003 edition of XPize available?
  4. I hope to get the 5.2 Edition of XPize soon ...
  5. Next release? XPize 5 is like Duke Nukem Forever ...
  6. Forget it, the project is dead ... There are only drops of informations or any kind of basic software, but no testable apps ...
  7. Look for Mediafour MacDrive. It brings you a driver for using HFS and HFS+ partitions / drives seamless in Windows. But it is a commercial product ...
  8. Oh yeah, I would help, too. I've a dedicated notebook for testing with an installed XP SP 3 ... So you can sign me up ...
  9. IMHO first 7-Zip, then WinUHA and then WinRAR ...
  10. Is it possible to get a german version of the Messenger Addon? Thanks a lot ...
  11. Is it possible to get this in GERMAN? I would kiss your feet ...
  12. @Volatus: I fully agree with you. For me Vista is such a crappy and bloated OS and also too expensive IMHO (if you compare the new things in Vista with the prices for the editions). I'm sure Vista will be the "Windows ME" of the NT series ... And because I'm still using XP Pro (and will do this as long it will be practible) I wish XPero will release a last and bug-free final release of XPize. Then he can burry it in this minds ...
  13. Oh yes, the shell32 bug already exists in SP 2 ... but if you haven't the XPize Reloader in your autostart then you haven't it so direct in your eyes ...
  14. @XPero: I can understand that you have new preferences but a new final release will end the discussion and with SP 3 there is a last stable base for build it. PLEASE ...
  15. No, ATM there is no fix and it seems that XPero hasn't any interest of release a new version of XPize ...
  16. I installed XPize on a fresh XP SP 3 and there are no problems except the shell32 bug, which was already on SP 2. The logoff screen, the boot screen, everything is like on SP 2 ... I think that you have a problem based on your running system ... EDIT: I just looked into the resources folder of XPize and see that there is only ONE icon for patching, not more ...
  17. This is the old bug with the reloader. It shows you everytime that there was one patched file (the shell32.dll). But the file is patched already (and it will be patched everytime the Reloader runs). Ignore it or disable the autostart of the Reloader ...
  18. Thanks a lot... The information about the hardware DriverForge installs it atm isn't so much important, the progress bar and the silent mode is enough for me. And again: You're making a d.a_m.n. good job and product
  19. In my case the drivers are already uncompressed and so the 7-Zip utility isn't needed. The only GUI-like I "want" to see is a progress bar from your tool during the installations of the drivers (perhaps with showing what hardware is installing in that moment). And it would be very nice to "say" the drive letter via an argument / parameter ...
