Yeah I heard good things about the giFT network, it was originally for unix/linux users to begin with IIRC. Its good to see there's a windows ported client for the giFT network

I agree, I've actually started using this a couple of weeks ago, beats CrazyBrowser, and MyIE, and it keeps getting improved and quickly gaining popularity, which is a good thing! Two thumbs up from me heh.

My Plextor 16/10/40 is still running after 1 and a half years. My LiteOn 24/10/40 is still running after a full year. My opinion... Get a LiteOn, they're cheaper, don't do coasters (coasters would be caused by user error tbh) and can copy mostly all protections that other CD-RW drives can't do.

It seems you can only do it manually on each computer, its hard work, but there should be some third party applications with a GUI to do the job quicker of changing serials.

I've yet to seen an app or game fail to run on my NTFS drives, bearing in mind I have played well over 50 different games on an NTFS filesystem. IMO, i just find NTFS more faster on drives bigger than 30GB, and more reliable.

AFAIK, WinISO is the only app that will allow you to add/remove files from an ISO without having to extract it.

All you need is two 100mbps network cards, (get realtek ones) and a 50ft crossover cable to link up the 2 PCs. However if you plan for expansion to your network, you should invest in a 4 or more port hub.
