Tihiy, Could you add an alert into this Scandisk utility for 137 GB problem ? If anyone tries to scan a 137+ GB disk, this tool should warn the user like that "the drive may be corrupt".

It is not a hacked file... However, I will make optional these tools. We wrote that on various topics: 137 GB limit is a serious problem, it could not be fixed by smaller partitions. Please read Petr's 137 GB post for details.

Also I want to write again: - SP will NOT be a collection of freeware programs. - Only some replacements can be added to SP such as Scandisk, Format etc. - Scandisk, Format and FDisk replacements are required for better HDD capacity support.

You're right about EXTRACT.EXE. Probably every Windows 98 installation has it, SP will update it with the newer version.IPROP.DLL is a part of DCOM (Distributed COM). Probably most Windows 98 installation has it, SP will update it with the newer version. Please look at this link: Win98 hangs or locks up when deleting files. I also added this link into the my new features list. Did you look at the my Installation Guide?

As I stated in the guide, it's optional. You don't require to install IE 6 or DirectX 9. SP 2.0.1 contains all critical OS updates. However, it doesn't contain IE-related, Media Player-related, DirectX-related updates. (But it contains required updates for bundled IE 5.0 of 98 SE.) So if you use IE 5.5+, you should install critical updates from WinUpdate.

Good idea! I'll add it. OLE2.DLL and STORAGE.DLL are same with the 98 SE's. Only version number is changed. But you're right about COMPOBJ.DLL. I'll add it. I'm confused about IPROP.DLL. Its date is 1997. But the version number is newer.

I want to make it, but I have not enough time... Maybe I'll release it in 2006...
