  1. One thing to do is rename the .bat to .cmd, it has the same but extended capabilities. If you don't want to see the command window, use CMDOW. Just run a search fo it or look on the MSFN unattended site.
  2. Thanks Alanoll for your hard work!
  3. This indeed is a great little program! I Always use it before copying anything to my MP3 player. Didn't know it had a silent install function though
  4. Why don't you use an executeable archive (7zip or rar for instance)? Then you can simply run it through cmdlines.txt or RunOnceEx.cmd (do a search for the use of these or have a look here: http://unattended.msfn.org/intermediate/methods/runonceex.htm
  5. Well, I like it too, but I just do it myself, works like a charm! Thanks though, probably other people will benefit from it!
  6. Use the search function of "regedit" and search for "mcafee" then export the root from mcafee to a .reg file
  7. Great info!! Downloaded the msi installers to do a silent install
  8. To integrate registration, just register as normal, then export the reg settings for mcafee into a new reg file. Add this registry file after installation of the program. Hope that helps
  9. Maybe you spilled some coffee over your keyboard during install???
  10. look at this site: http://unattended.msfn.org/ Or (since you're dutch) here: http://www.btsunattended.net/NL/Tutorial/ Browse around and you'll find your answer
  11. Maybe just remove the entire lines with the ; in front of it. But I don't know since I don't exactly understand what the problem is...
  12. They probalby won't release the 64bit edition untill proper (and most common) Drivers are integrated. btw. A new beta version is released, RC1! You can go to the microsoft website and try it!
  13. Hi all, look in this thread, Works fine for all products! http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?act=ST...ndpost&p=219489 Hope this helps!
  14. @SyntaxError Maybe that's because you want to import [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\EasyBoot Systems\UltraISO\5.0] while using version 7.5.0.955
  15. Hi, I came accross the same problem... What I did was extract the installer to C:\Sysmech\: systemmechanicpro.exe /X C:\Sysmech\ and then packed it with WinRAR and created a SFX archive that automaticly creates a desktop and Start Menu Icon (look under Advanced, SFX options..., Advanced Tab) and your SFX comment should look something like this: ;The comment below contains SFX script commands Path=System Mechanic\ SavePath Silent=1 Overwrite=1 Title=System Mechanic Pro Shortcut=D, ".exe", "", "Launces System Mechanic Pro", "System Mechanic" Shortcut=P, ".exe", "System Mechanic", "Launces System Mechanic", "System Mechanic" Well... good luck installiong this one btw. After this you can register your app with the first .reg file you showed (the second will automaticly be generated once you start the program I think)
  16. Yeah I thought so... So what they say is: "But we don't want to use the exact command shown above as this wouldn't exist when installing from a CD, so we will need to change this when we add it to a !!!!!batch!!!!! file You do not need to change it in the Custom Installation Wizard but only in your batch (or RunOnceEx.cmd) file that you will run and it will look like: Office.bat (for example): start /wait %systemdrive%\install\office\SETUP.EXE TRANSFORMS=%systemdrive%\install\office\SetupFile.MST /qb (must be on the same line) or from RunOnceEx.cmd: REG ADD %KEY%\010 /VE /D "Office 2003" /f REG ADD %KEY%\010 /V 1 /D "%systemdrive%\install\office\SETUP.EXE TRANSFORMS=%systemdrive%\install\office\SetupFile.MST /qb" /f
  17. You don't need to change it there, just write it down or copy it to notepad When you run setup, you only should change it. setup.exe TRANSFORMS=Unattended.MST /qb- Hope this helps
  18. Have you succesfully created the .MST file?
  19. Hi everyone! When you've got the entire suite and want to install only some components silently: Start the setup and when the first screen appears go to you %temp% folder and there you find the installation files in different folders for each product. You can then copy these directory's (while the setup window is still open) In each directory is a separate setup.exe which you can run and it will install silently. And, if you want, you can create a self extracting archive of each component that runs setup after unpacking. Hope you find this information usefull, TjobzzZ
