  1. did you try the extension i posted? I know that works, you will need to change its settings though to open in a new tab (default is current tab). Just open Tools>Extensions>Search Button and change "left" button or "enter key" to search in new foreground tab. You dont even need the button on the toolbar with the later.

  4. http://www.bullguard.com/forum/12/Does-any...rora_12733.html The second to last post claims to have succesfully removed the trouble files. The last post mentions using an uninstall program program, NOTE i have seen various people mention this uninstaller but they only have 1 post count. So they may be cons.
  5. i wonder if you could run a linux live cd with ntfs read/write and just delete the trouble files. Or use something like this http://ubcd4win.com/ http://www.seanster.com/Super_WinPE/SuperWinPE2.htm

  8. ive played with the new opera 8, but i still use Firefox 100%. Opera had very nice smooth scrolling, going back and forward between pages was very fast, small footprint, but little or nothing else impressed me about it.
  9. you might need to disable Windows File Protection. http://unattended.msfn.org/advanced/hackedfiles/wfp.htm Alot of people here use unattended windows cd's that already have these tweaks by default, hence why i forgot to mention them. I'll update if i find a way of getting around this. [EDIT] If this dll is disabled you will not be able to access power options in the control panel.
  10. Disable the System Restore Service, you computer will thank you. Select Start followed by Control Panel, and double-click the System icon. 15. More information would help. First is your music collection in the "My Music" Folder? You can change that with the TweakUI powertoy btw. Also are the files in compatible formats such as MP3? Try having Windows Media Player build the 'music library' and then open Media Center. and check in Event Viewer to get more specifics on the problem. Start>Run>eventvwr.msc

  18. Just to be clear, Firefox is a web browser not a spyware removal program. Make sure you update Ad-Aware and do a deep scan in safe mode. you can also read through this: http://forums.techguy.org/showthread.php?t=353342
