  1. He's not got anywhere with it yet. He's just started, got a vague idea of where to get it, read nothing, and is stumbling to install and start it. There's nothing you can tell him or do about it until he reads the documentation officially available.
  2. Going over your history of posts here, you have no special rights that allows you to *DEMAND* an answer. If your post can make other people happy to read and reply to, only then you can hope for responses. With your kind of posts, you make people think that they have wasted their time by replying to you. There's thousands of people active on the forums and they use search to the fullest extent, why can't *YOU* ? Lot of people who don't even post, quietly use the search and succeed with what they are trying. If its a waste of time for you to search, then what's the incentive you're giving to others to help you? There's any number of people here whose every minute is valuable, but still they take out some time for others. Okay, lets get blunt here - its taking too long for you to get your unattended install to work properly? Then forget it - you just don't qualify for minimum skill level required. The procedures here are for those who see value in it (and so IT departments that spend thousands of hours on this kind of a work, are attracted) - for these people putting in a few hours (or even weeks) is peanuts compared to the resulting benefits and time savings. Before you post anything, just a give a thought to the possibility that every **** friggin thing you could ever hope to think of and ask for, has already been discussed ten times and beaten to death with. Each of your pathetic 30 posts in this forum has been answered with a pointer to search - don't you ever get the message that people might just as well ignore you but still they make an attempt to put you on the right path? Okay, so you are very great and people should bow-down to you and submit an answer to you? Grow up dude, most who are around here are placed in a better situation than you and will just note you down as an id*** to be avoided in future. Its just too time-consuming to teach one from scratch about what something is - why not read up on it, use its help, google for it, search for all the info you can, then if you still have queries, post it? If you don't understand something, or something looks new, how about spending 5 minutes experimenting with it. If that's not possible or not acceptable, then forget - you're a hopeless case. And what the hell do you mean with your user title? A real mod doesn't go around blowing his own horn and saying, look at me I'm a moderator. Anyways, your user group clearly reveals the reality. Just look behind your back - you might get warned or banned for spoofing such stuff. Or, if you have been especially helpful to the forum, atleast then people will *HAPPILY* do everything they can to help you. But otherwise stay polite.
  3. And yeah.... with reference to setup2go. It is once again looking like an opportunity taken to promote yourself/your own views. Don't spam. We see that the more popular installers (MSI, InstallShield, NSIS, INNO) have a standard set of defined silent install switches. And the default switches is customizable to have a switch which will install to where you want. So what happens is..... if you know the switch for INNO, you got the ability to install all the 3000 programs out there that use INNO installers. Same goes with others - you can use PIDKEY for ANY MSI-based installer to register with key. Its been proved over and over again - adherence to standards, and fairplay benefits everyone. I gave one example - the more experienced people here can give many more examples. As someone above said, obscurity and singularity has always led to the perishment of a species. setup2go=junk.
  4. Yes.He says to read all the things already been told here. People have been talking of this thing since years over here, and then someone comes and asks to explain ONCE AGAIN? No one has an excess of time to be repeating the same things again and again. Instead of just asking around for things, make some effort on your part as well (if only by reading past topics), is all that was said. Read the topics that he referred to, to understand how to do it.
  5. sypder2k said the best solution. And then, its actually amazing that you have this many problems with it. Yes, SP2 did give a few headaches, but not in the manner and extent you describe. You have factual errors in your post. There's many glaring inconsistencies there, if you take the time to understand what you read. Is this propaganda to dissuade newbies from using SP2 and protecting their PCs? Because they can get easily swayed with the extent of jargon and detail you use there - they won't understand the facts, that many of the above is wrong, and cannot happen. See how carefully worded his post is! If you (or anyone else) wants a full rebuttal on why the above looks a made-up case, tell me - since that will take time to say it all, I will leave it to you to get the facts. I'd sort of be surprised if this talamarr guy comes back to see this thread at all. A one-post hit-n-run poster!
  6. Stop posting links that only help yourself. Don't thousands of threads here have links to external sites? Do those links have this sort of crankyness? It really can't be THAT hard for you to post a direct link to whichever this site is? (www.pcbugdoctor.com as Tarun said). Especially, considering that you've spammed this forum previously, promoting your own board, so its not an unlikely assumption that you know to post links correctly? Why do you need such a lengthy, re-directed nonsensical address? Unless your intention is get us to that site with a referer ID of some site of yours. Remember public forums such as this exist to help one another, not to repeatedly make posts that promote yourself or your site. You may post links to your own site in the section designated for that - but even then, not too much. Participate in the discussions here before trying to get people here to your site.
  7. Looks like a cute set of games and some useful utilities. Seems good - keep it up dude!
  8. Why isn't this tagged spamming? No link to a genuine download site goes like this: And that's the link you have above. Heck, if you keep up with this, the moderators of this site might have to do something to prevent further junk from being posted here.
  9. What the hell is the necessity that we'll go to your board and ask for invites? When there's like so many invites being offered and literally flowing right here at msfn? (browse this thread, I bet atleast 50 invites are up for takes). You are a member here - offer invites if you can, ask for it if you don't have Gmail. There's no way you're allowed to re-direct traffic from here to your forum. Why can't you help us MSFN members right here at MSFN forums? Blatant spamming, whichever way you look at it. Looking through your history of posts here, most of the time you've been promoting your own sites. @moderators Please note the post above by cancer10.
  10. Oh, is that your site? WOW! Can I ask you for a few things then?
  11. Do you think anybody here doesn't know it?and what's all this "alien", "psychic" stuff? Right - this needs to go straight into junk!Looks like u been posting this just for the sake of posting, so that the advertising in your most recent post isn't noticed to be the first post. But nothing escapes observant eyes.... We see such things in middle school essays. Pages upon pages of text, all sounding very hi-fi. Taken together, the entire thing makes not an iota of sense to the reader. All this just so the page-count of of the answer-sheet you submit increases. trying not to react, but this is too much. And yeah, flaming me is worthless - I am a noob as indeed my name says.
  12. somehow, this kludge of words doesn't sound funny.... Who thought it fit to be in the funnies section? Or is it funny because of the ability to put up pages of high-sounding words, that are meaningless and amount to nothing? And this person has an ad in his sig! MSFN itself (that provides so many facilities freely) has kept the forum as ad-free as possible, what makes him think ads in his sig is acceptable? To the best of my knowledge, only members who have been in this forum for a long time (50 posts or above) get an allowance to post about their personal website ONCE (and even then, NOT commercial) in the "websites and boards" section. Just plain spammer here - do a check of his history of posts - no real content.... A waste of time that I read it.
