Willing to install XPize and not having 32 bit display seems incompatible to me. Without 32 bit display, XP icons look ugly, so why caring about XPize? Also, adding support for 16, 256 and 16.1 million colors will make XPize installer much bigger.
I'm running 4.3 over 4.2 smoothly. Anyone else with this issue? I would like to fix that if many people are having it. @tony-inpo Can you please give me the details so I can reproduce the error in my computer. All info is welcome, thanks.
XPize Mods will be a separate download (around 1,5MB each). For now they will be as following: - They will replace only bitmaps images to match an specific style - They will not be integrable through nLite - They will be installed only if XPize is installed normally in Windows
Hi! I put your icon in the website frontpage for a month or so, isnt that enough? I had in mind Winamp media files among other things, but as I have said in other post, Ive cut down my TODO list and released 4.3 because of the MMC issue. The PDF thing is a good idea
yergling: Ive tested 4.2 and 4.3 (both Full versions). In both cases shell32.dll size is almost identical (21MB approx). You have probably made some kind of mistake.
It was in my plans to add switches for those options, but I was forced to release 4.3 bbecause of the MMC prob. Anyway, those options are unchecked by default, so no need to worry. Regarding shell32.dll I am impressed of the difference. I'm going to compare file sizes with 4.2 and 4.3 later when arriving home and will post my results.
@maska: Thanks for letting me know. First screen is typical when you are developing Full and Lite altogether and are in a rush Regarding the 2nd shot, dont worry. It is problem with the way NSIS scripts work and code is run.
XPize 4.3 MCE Final Here it is Very soon XPize Mods will be released. For now, Luna Element and Luna Blue are ready. Just let me polish them Changelog Download Happy XPizing!
Boot your PC with a floppy containing a healthy "boot.ini" and copy it to the root where your Windows is installed. Try first Safe Mode or Last Good Known Config.
The guy posted it told me to delete cuz there was a problem with permission. I didnt know that this thing existed till he contacted me. I cant let people share these kind of things without permission.
Bad news guys. 7zip only supports 16 crappy colors in the toolbar icons, so I think I won't be wasting my time on an ugly thing that will end up equally ugly.
