i used vlite on this 80118-1840_amd64fre_Client_en-us-FRMCXFRE_EN_DVD.iso but all i did was enter stuff for unattended setup and created the ISO. worked fine

do a google search and you will see that SP1 can not be integrated with vlite but read here http://www.msfn.org/board/VISTA-SP1-INTERG...ON-t112305.html

how do i go about requesting a replacement DVD from microsoft with serice pack 1 integrated since they are not going to allow integration with vlite. thank you

here is suggestion nuhi, since some ( not mentioning any names here ) have trouble applying changes and rebuilding after you go through all the menus why not make it more automatic so people who have trouble with that phase will not have that trouble

which driver did you try? i am running an audigy 2 Zs with no trouble at all

it is smaller than original, i followed all the steps and click apply and it then made ISO. leave it up to me!!! it did one of the things i requested so wouldn't that mean that i did it right?

hi nuhi, first off thank you for all you hard work in making these projects for free BUT i just tried vlite for the first time and noticed that some things are not working. i selected to remove security center, turn ofF user account controll, turn off the welcome center, set power setting to high performance. the only thing it did that i wanted was to remove system restore and remove windows defender. i have attached the last session file. turns out windows defender wasn't deleted either Last_Session.ini

64 bit vista has been great experience for me. only have run into one thing that i could not get to work, but it was minor cosmetic software for skinning the clock. been running it for little over a month now and am not going back to XP. nuhi, nice to see that you will be joining 64 bit vista means vlite will take off now!!!!

hi nuhi, just installed vista ultimate 64 bit 2 weeks ago and am still getting used to it. i have not run vlite yet so my suggestions may or may not be part of it already. here are my suggestions - 1 turn off security center and make so it doesn't nag you to turn it on. i have it turned off now and it keeps nagging me every restart to turn it back on 2 remove the shortcut arrows on the icons on desktop 3 on the start menu for programs, is there way to expand it so you do not have to scroll to see the things installed? sorry if this is worded wrong these are just some i have thought of as i get used to vista and sorry if they are part of it already and as always great job in starting this project

is anybody working on add on for netfx 3.0? how about windows media player 11? please!!!!

i wish people would make more add ons for 64 bit. i realize most use 32 bit but one can hope anyhow

i tried to make a partition with partition magic but when i restarted windows to let it apply the changes i got error message XMNT 2002 could not be found disk check is stopping or something like that. how do i get that to stop? do not know where to look, i tried the startup folder under msconfig but did not see anything there related. thank you

hclarkjr, overwrite system32\advpack.dll with system32\advpack2.dll. Gonna check your preset why it was skipped. nuhi, thank you for quick reply. is this error fixable or do i need to make another install cd?
