Did you try and slipstream the updates using vLite if so thats probably your problem. You would need to use DISM to intergrate them. Or you could use Mr.Jinje's DISM Tool to make it easier

The smallest I ever got my install.wim was 605mb. Under dead0's config. You can try his normally should be between 600 and 670mb. Although it says ultimate only I have tested it successfully with other versions including ultimate.

Are you just using vLite ? If you are then thats the problem vLite doesn't remove everything cleanly, to do that you need to use on of the guides in the vLite section of the forum. If you want it extremely light I would recommend dead0 or Jeronimo's guides.

Its definitely enough for vista. I have the little brother of your CPU the E2140 @ 1.6Ghz runs it like a charm, even with 2 Sketchup projects and a 1080p movie in the background. Also how much RAM do you have ?

Hi all again I recently ordered a new 550W PSU with dual 16A 12v rails to power my system after th old PSU went kaput cause of my bro flipping the voltage switch would it still be worth it to OC my e2140 to somewhere between 2.6 and 3.3Ghz ? or just buy a new cpu cause i am on a really low budget

with vLite on its own you won't get very far, but if you try one of the guides by Jeronimo, dead0, liquid, or sausagehack then the possibilities are looking good

Problem with being specific at the current level I'm at is that it will get you nowhere in A-Levels we don't have specific branches, all we have are Engineering Lvl 1,2 & 3, I currenty have lvl 2 at a grade A* which is 8.5GCSE's and it would make sense to do lvl3 but then again the ICT course on offer has certain hardware aspects attatched such as; building a pc, learning how they work, building servers and so on.

I was thinking more towards the C/GPU side of things maybe ATi or Intel I'm thinking engineering lvl 3 and ICT would be a good start for A-Levels

I think vLite will take all of them, from what I know quite a lot of the required info is in the .inf such as settings, resolutions etc etc. you should just select the multiple .inf selection if that makes sense. I don't think vLite works for making an unattended windows 7 DVD
