i get a prompt about adding it to the regisrty how do i make it silent

i need to create a reg file to associate a file type with a program how do i do it

if i have 2 files the program and 1 self extracting archive can i add both to the same addonpack also can i load a bat file from the addon how would i achieve this

ah thank you 1 other thing since i dont need it to run anything to install can i use the setup proram (run before or run after) extraction to run a reg file to associate a filetype with it

how do i create an addon or install a program that doesnt need to be installed to run so isnt an exe package

no xp wont allow you to have the computer name and username the same

i got mine down to 287mb iso file size with sp3 and all updates wmp11 ect but run a 380 with a few addons no need to get it down more if i can fit it on a cd and have no idea on what i would have to do to achieve such a small size can you make a small 1 to run off a usb stick?

how do i create a silent install ive seen alot of threads but there way out of date is there a new way to create them also how would create 1 to be able to choose where the shortcuts go, where it installs, and if i want to install other settings with it like the tool bar or without toolbar ect

from memory there is an option in nlite to fix that problem im not sure but remember seeing something like that

when i test in virtualbox it keeps booting the cd over and over instead of finishing install and im sure the press anykey boot message is set to disable what can cause it all done in 1 nite session and no other modifications also these hotfixes didnt install or work kb898461 kb890830 kb905474 kb960715 kb955839 kb940157 kb909520 does that mean they have to be installed by run once or set as an addon instead of a straight integration LAST_SESSION.INI

no because they were intergrated u cant uninstall them there not actually a patch anymore

can this be used at any time after installation as in just have the disk with the programs on there and be able to pop it into any machine at any time

the patches should be intergrated so u wont see them being installed

did u enter the correct key where u were supposed to u say it didnt work in a few previous versions but now ur saying it did?

have you checked its right where u entered it for the unattended setting
