i have created another nlite and took "Administrator VB scripts" out of remove and still got the same error

have tried hidden users net framework from ryanvm and got an error i redownloaded and still got the error tried on my current pc (been nlited) and worked fine but wont work on my other pc that i nlited heres my last session.ini could it be something else i have removed or a service i have changed maybe...?? also while i got the error i doubled clicked the install.vbs file that is actually there and got another error aswell

yep all done as per ur instructions fast user switch works it was terminal services ok much testing and searching later also fixed control panel control panel prob somehow i have that key in current user??? hasnt happened on other discs i have made then has started randomly happening at some stage. deleted key and works fine

im not sure if its something i have removed or a service i have disabled maybe...? but i cant turn fast user switching on my runonce reg file didnt work i ran the reg file again by double clicking and still didnt i load up user accounts click the box and apply and the box still isnt ticked and still doesnt work also control panel doesnt have the switch to category view edit i think i removed terminal services which apparently is needed for fast user switching so ill try again with that but still cant work out control panel prob LAST_SESSION.INI

just change your registry keys from [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Associations] "LowRiskFileTypes"=".exe" to [HKEY_USERS\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Associations] "LowRiskFileTypes"=".exe"

how do i remove the pinned items in the start menu theres internet explorer and outlook express if u right click the start menu / start menu tab/ customize theres a show on start menu heading with 2 tick boxes but i cant seem to remove them unattended

my bad i have a rar called tinyxp but mustnt be what ur talking about as it ends up using nlite to strip it down to 44mb

use wud (windows update downloader) and use the most up to date list then use automatic update and download whatever is left manually and save to computer

how can i uncheck the two items unattended ? while leaving pinned menu enabled

where can i recover these files from when i look at my original disk half arent on there and how do i expand them

what key would i export as i cant find any reference to the filetype icon in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.mp3 etc ah i followed the default value in the address posted above and found the default icon reference geez gonna take a while lol

cant even get WGAPluginInstall.exe to work in runonce i done the /? to get the commands n done /Q for quiet but it still pops up and needs user interaction

what do i have to do to have the file type icons set as how i want them can i export a registry key (after setting them how i want) and place in the runonce file ?? and add the icons to the locations they need to be...

im not looking for wga_addon as i already have that file from that forum this is a plugin for firefox and kb890830 ... i dont understand... in that link it shows its in the pack ?? and i dont want a pack since i have everything else

firstly i have every update i need so dont need an update pack and the wgaplugin installer probably wouldnt be in there anyway i have decided not to add kb890830 as it gets updated monthly anyway and after a month it is out of date WindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB973354-x64-ENU.exe i have just noticed(reading my post) is x64 so incompatible as i run 32bit so have got the correct file and should work now and will be making wgaplugininstall into an addon and see if that works

i know the basic shortcuts for file location eg %systemroot%, %systemdrive% etc but what are they actually called and where can i find a list of all of them for windows xp

where do i find highspeed usb controller drivers so i can include them in my unattended xp cd since it wont download any when it finds it, it just says this will be used at a lower speed (yes they are usb2 ports)
