  1. yeah I do, that way I have control over EAX, THX, Bit Rate eg. 48Khz or 92Khz, and etc. That's why I create mini-installer that'll install CP.
  2. I only wanted is a driver, none of other garbage and that's why I don't like creative's driver on cd that came with my hardware. It's bloat, and install bunches of stuff that I don't need and annoying flash animation poping up all over screen and nagging about registering. much appericate for your comments and thanks!
  3. I didn't realized your size is based on ISO, it's 576MB for folder alone. By the way I use Corp.
  4. I found a better way to install Creative Lab's Proprietary Audigy Driver. STEP 1 Download the latest driver and extract the driver. STEP 2 The folder's name should read "EAX4DRV_AUDIGY2_1_84_50" but keep in mind number change per release. STEP 3 Look for "Drivers" folder and take that out and rename the folder such as "005_Audigy2ZS" then put it in $OEM$\$1\Drivers STEP 4 Add the switch in RunOnceEX or Batch RunOnceEX REG ADD %KEY%\010 /VE /D "Installing Audigy 2ZS Driver" /f REG ADD %KEY%\010 /V 1 /D "%systemdrive%\Drivers\005_Audigy2ZS\CTZAPXX.exe /S" /f Batch ECHO Installing Audigy 2ZS Driver ECHO Please wait... start /wait %systemdrive%\Drivers\005_Audigy2ZS\CTZAPXX.exe /S WinXP should detect driver on next reboot. It's pretty simple. Let me know if you found any other switches. At least it worked for me. This method should work with Audigy 1, 2, 2ZS. Dunno about rest of other. For those who still want Creative Control Panel, I made mini-installer that'll add CtPanel to your Control Panel CtPanel_Silent no switch are need for CP, just add line like this %systemdrive%\Drivers\005_Audigy2ZS\CtPanel_Silent.exe EDIT: Added links for CtPanel
  5. oop i found my mistake you'll probadly want to rename it to ATI_Decoder.exe cuz RunOnceEx doesn't seem to appericate the space between two words.
  6. good news, i repackage ati dvd decoder with install rite and it work for me and no need for cd checking or anything... It'll install silently and the only way to tell if it's installed, go to control panel and look at listing under add/remove programs and you'll see "ATI DVD Decoder" Download ATI DVD Decoder Ver 3.0.1 / 2.8mb / Updated 8-16-04 no switch are need and let me know if it worked or not. EDIT: Uploaded newer one, and got rid of bunches of useless registry, mostly are unrelated to ati.
  7. whoot, the mods got own3d! just kidding
  8. Just disregard what Custom Installation Wizard tell you which switch to use. Just use the one from the guide and you'll be fine.

  12. I've used this trick in the past, but now I dont bother with SFX since I start using DVD whoot 4.7gb
  13. Thanks, much simplier than I thought!

  21. Mwahahaha I'll say it goes the same for noobs with trigger happy finger clicking their way thru installation and they dont bother reading lengthy agreement, and the reasons a.) it's bloody boring and mind numbing b.) too lazy and they're in hurry c.) or they're too stupid to read and they need a lawyer to help them to understand the term of agreement.
  22. Driver working great on Audigy 2 ZS but there's two issues i'm having 1. CPL 2. Yellow Question Mark on IEEE 1394 Controller Yep my Audigy has onboard IEEE firewire, and I'm aware of issues with CPL and thought you'll like to know.
  23. ATI Driver, and Control Panel installed flawless except for minor inconvience with WDM Driver it went borked on me and I manage to catch the glimpse of error message saying something like "access denied" and "extraction failure". I tried using setup.exe -R but no help at all either. got any suggestion ?
